Afte ten minutes, Five arrives with Delores. "Get up, we're going somewhere."

"Oh?" I raise myself from his bed, seeing him place Delores in the bag she first arrived in. "Where too?"

"For some food. But," He swings the bags over his shoulders. "first I have to do something." He holds his hand out for me too take; I do without a second thought. He smiles at me, pulling me after him and all the way out side, where he flagged a taxi, telling him a location as we climb in.

"Isn't that a department store? Why are we going there?"

"I told you..." He sounded sad. "I have something I need to do." I saw him glaces over the bag with Delores, his first tightening on it slightly. 'Is he doing something with Delores?'We stayed silent the whole ride, thankfully so did the driver. The drive felt longer though. Maybe it's because I feel the dread coming from Five. Reaching the place, Five quietly thanked the driver, giving him the money as we stepped out.

"Five?" I felt something grab my hand, looking down to see it was Five. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah..." He breaths out, walking us towards the store, only to stop before the door. "Could you wait here? I won't be long." He gives my hand a squeeze as I nod, before releasing me and walking in, leaving me out here. Leaning against the wall, I sigh, knowing what he's doing.

"Goodbye, Delores. I'll be sure to look after him, so rest assured." I didn't mind if Five was gonna take his time saying goodbye. She meant a lot to him; he's only had her after burying me. Burying me... It's weird to think he fell for me during the apocalypse. A little bit of still doubts what he said was true, but he know things about me no one alive knows, so a part of it has to be true. Maybe I told him things because we were the last two people on earth? What if, I actually hated him in the future? And he is only pretending that we were lovers because of how I died? Maybe that's why he won't tell me. I was brought back to reality, hearing Five's blink. His bag was less full, meaning he really did say goodbye to Delores.

"Let's go get some food okay?" He takes my hand, trying to walk off but I stayed put. "Vic?" Smililng softly at him, I took my hand from his, cuppings his face before bringing our foreheads together, closing my eyes.

"We'll come back to visit her every now and then, yeah?" I felt him smile, his hands grabbing my waist to pull me in closer as he raised his head, so our noses were touching.

"Yeah, that would be nice. But, I think I'm ready to let her go."

"Good." Backing away, I grabbed the collar of his blazer. "Because I don't wanna fight with a manniquin." He laughed, pulling away.

"You'd win reguardless. Come on." He once again took my hand, pulling me after him. I didn't stop him this time. Who cares if apocalyptic me hated him? That's not gonna change how I feel now.

Five and I spent the rest of the day, just wondering around. We had a hotdog each, as Five wouldn't let me not eat. Currently, we were sitted on a bench in a park. Apparently just down the road, was a bowling ally, he and his silbings would visit when they were younger. They would sneak out to there and Griddys Doughnuts all the time. "Didn't you get in trouble? Surelly your father knew."

"I think he did. But he never caught us, we would go on the nights he wasn't watching us."

"Clever. I bet that took a lot of planning. God, I would have loved to be able to sneak out." Leaning back, I stared into the nighy sky. The moon was so bright.

"Well, at least you're free now." I felt Five stare at me. But I didn't look at him until he grabbed my hand. "I-" He cuts himself off, trying to form the words. "I wanna have to chance, to grow up like I was meant it. But with you."
