Naruto was still sleeping when he heard it, the asylum's alarm for emergencies. He quickly got up and burst outside of his room. His parents were already looking at the TV with worried faces. Naruto had a slight idea what was this all about. He didn't tell his parents, he couldn't bring himself to do it. Was his death sentance today? Was this the day he would finally see the outside world?

- Good morning, citizens. The authorities have the following order:
Due to the constant decrease of resources and in the name of science and our future, we decided that some of us have to be transported into the outside world.

Kushina gasped and placed her hands in front of her mouth. Her whole body stiffened. What was happening?

- After analyzing the situation, we think it's the best to send people between 13 and 18 years old.

- What the fuck is he saying!?

Kushina was filled with rage at this point. She looked at Minato, who was silent the whole time. He was looking at the TV with a stone face, waiting for the announcement to be over.

Naruto was nearly sobbing at this point. Was this the last time he would see his father?

A knock on the door was heard. Naruto was paralyzed. Minato dragged him into his room and locked it. The door opened without their permission.
