In the shadows, blood runs cold,
A tale of wrath and stories untold,
Betrayal's sting, a heart left scarred,
Emotions shattered, trust marred.
Hurting deep, the wounds unseen,
Remorse and guilt, a haunting dream,
I'm sorry for the pain I've caused,
Better without me, my heart's been lost.
Into the fray, I reside,
A soul burdened, with nowhere to hide,
The echoes of regret, they consume,
A heartache's symphony, a mournful tune.
I never meant to cause this strife,
To tear apart your precious life,
But now I see the damage done,
A broken promise, a battle never won.
Hurting deep, the wounds unseen,
Remorse and guilt, a haunting dream,
I'm sorry for the pain I've caused,
Better without me, my heart's been lost.
In the silence, I search for peace,
A chance to heal, to find release,
But the weight of my actions, it lingers on,
A constant reminder of what's been done.
Hurting deep, the wounds unseen,
Remorse and guilt, a haunting dream,
I'm sorry for the pain I've caused,
Better without me, my heart's been lost.
In my remorse, I'll find my way,
To redemption's light, where souls sway,
For in forgiveness, I hope to find,
A chance to heal, and leave this pain behind.
