Chapter 19.5: Sparring with Sasha

(The echo episode begins with Kevin practicing his Master Sword and Hylian Shield against the wooden dummies Sasha made for him in the woods and he's been doing pretty good with his swordsmanship.)

Kevin: "I think I'm getting a hand with this swordsmanship now."

Sasha: (approaches him) "Awesome, Kevin. Looks like you're getting ready to face the dangers. Have you ever done this before?"

Kevin: "I've been fighting and protecting L.A. from any dangers every single day with and without backup."

Sasha: "And Anne told me that you got your powers from this God of Video Games named Turbo?"

Kevin: (nods) "Yep."

Sasha: "That's cool. Hey, you wanna spar?"

Kevin: "With you? Heh, okay then."

Sasha: (takes out sword) "Alright, here I come!"

(They both then charge at each other and clash with their swords, beginning to spar. They were both hitting with each other's swords before Kevin pushed Sasha back with his strength.)

Kevin: "Not bad, Sasha. Looks like you're also pretty well with that sword of yours too."

Sasha: (smirk) "You're not the only one who could swordplay here~!"

Kevin: "Well then, (puts her sword in his back) come and try to hit me."

Sasha: (confused) "Uh, what?"

Kevin: "Come at me."

Sasha: (worried) "But what about your sword?"

Kevin: "I can spar without it, so come at me."

Sasha: "Well... Okay, here I come!"

(Sasha charged at Kevin as she jumps and about to slash at Kevin. But Kevin dodges just in the nick of time by doing backflips before landing on his feet perfectly, much to Sasha's amazed.)

Kevin: "You see? You gotta fight unusually like what I just did. You can't always hold back on your opponent. That makes you unpredictable. Got it?" (Sasha nods) (takes out his bow and arrow) "Now, try to block my arrows."

(He then begin firing his arrows at Sasha, who blocked some of them with her sword and evades one just by rolling aside.)

Kevin: "Nice!" (converts his arm into a Mega Buster) "Try some of this now!"

(He fired multiple shots while bustling a few moves at Sasha, who dodged out of the way by rolling and clash with Kevin's Energy Blade afterwards.)

(Music stops here)

(Then they stopped sparring when they stepped back and Kevin put his sword away before walking to Sasha, who put her sword away too.)

Kevin: "Nice blocking, Sasha. Now I know you'd mean business."

Sasha: "Thanks. Sooo, Anne told me about what happened with your parents and Maggie?"

Kevin: (frowns) "She did, didn't she?" (sighs) "Yeah, me, Maggie and my parents aren't seeing each other anymore. Maggie cheated on me with another boy, my parents thought of me as a mistake to the family tree and aren't showing me any love and attention while you and your friends were gone for so long." (looks away)

Sasha: (angry) (thoughts) 'How dare they not show Kevin the love he need?! If I ever meet them, I'll feed them to my Giant Herons!'

(Sasha saw Kevin's sadden look and placed her hand on his shoulder, smiling at him.)

Sasha: "Hey cheer up, Kev. I can understand what you're going through. My parents are divorced when I was around four-or-five years old. I thought it was my fault, but sometimes people can act like jerks. And I gotta admit, I was one of them to my friends. But I've changed and I know my family doesn't compare to yours, but you're not alone. Me, Anne, the Plantars, all of us are here for you no matter what. Okay?"

Kevin: (smile) "Thanks, Sasha. I needed that. And you're right. You have changed and I'm happy to see you again." (they both hugged and blushed at the same time)

(Afterwards, they separated from the hug and Kevin walks back to base while Sasha blushes still remembering her time she'd spent with Kevin before coming to Amphibia. She'd missed him so much that she wanted to go back home and see him again. But after seeing Amphibia in danger, she is needed to stop whatever King Andrias is throwing them. Now that he, Anne and the Plantars are back, she was very happy and swear to herself to protect her friends for real.)

(Suddenly, Sasha felt a hand tap on her shoulder, which made her jumped by fright.)

Sasha: "Whoa! Anne, you scared me!"

Anne: "Sorry. I saw you sparring with Anne and we need to talk."

Sasha: "About what?"

Anne: "About you crushing on Kevin."

Sasha: (blushing) "W-what?! No, I don't!" (Anne gives her the look telling that she's lying) (sighs) "Okay, fine, I do all right! I'm sorry, Anne. I know that he's your boyfriend now, but..."

Anne: "I'm willing to share."

Sasha: (her eyes widen) "W-what?"

Anne: "Kevin told me he's sharing me with Velma, Yuka, Sunset Shimmer and the others back in our world. We're kinda having a Harem, so you can join in if you want."

Sasha: (smile widen) "REALLY?!" (eases up) "I mean, (fixes her hair) sure. I'd like that. Thanks, Anne."

Anne: (chuckling) "No problem, Sasha. We'll tell Kevin later. Right now, we better focus on getting Amphibia back and takedown Andrias."

(Sasha nods as she and Anne walks back to base and everything fade to black afterwards.)
