It takes hours before they manage to outline the plan Chu Feng had suggest. After he and Zanilla finish planning of how to enter Bai Manor, they set out wearing a disguise. Chu Feng wears a black cloak and Zanilla wears a white cloak. When they reach the Manor, they wait, lurking in the shadows.

"We have to be alert and not distracted like the last time," one of the Scars' guards with a mustache says to his companion. "The Boss was very angry last time about how we let that idiot enter and bring out the bodies."

A hulking man emerges from the Manor. "I am going out. Remember, you must be alert, and if by any chance that anything happens in my absence, I will slaughter both of you along with your entire clan," he threatens, a promising tone lace in his voice, before leaving on his horse.

"How will we be able to get past those stupid fools?" Zanilla asks Chu Feng, without removing her gaze from the guards.

"We need to distract them," Chu Feng murmurs back, sounding so calm that someone could mistaken it to sound easy.

"But how?" Zanilla questions, twisting her body to face him.

"I will distract them while you enter and place the monuments," Chu Feng says, entrusting her with the monuments store in a huge white bag.

She nods.

He sends her one last reassuring smile before walking towards the guard.

"Who are you? Why are you here?" A guard demands, raising his sword and crouching slightly in an attack stance.

"You two are new here, aren't you?" he asks with a harder tone.

"Why do you want to know?" the mustached guard asks, exchanging a suspicious glance with the other guard.

Chu Feng strolls towards them, causing the guards to go on full alert and point the tip of their swords towards him. Unfazed, he continues forward and pats the back of the guard with the mustache and merely answering, "Because I am Xiao Fang, child."

They both glance at each other in shock and awe. He shows them a tattoo on his hand, to which they both immediately kneel and perform their kowtow, a bow showing respect to who they think is their lord.

"Get up my young ones. Come with me," he orders and discreetly sends a wink to Zanilla as a sign to enter. She nods and smiles bravely.

I am tempted to laugh at how Chu Feng is fooling them idiots and introducing himself as Xiao Fang, the divine fortune-teller

I am tempted to laugh at how Chu Feng is fooling them idiots and introducing himself as Xiao Fang, the divine fortune-teller.

I enter my family's Manor which still looks exactly the same as before, with the exception of a lack of dead bodies.

I stand at the doorway of the manor taking in its interior, as cool wind gently blows in my face, as if to welcome me. Taking in a deep breath, I step into the place of so many happy childhood memories.

Nothing has been touch. You wouldn't even know that gruesome murders had been committed within these walls. The only thing out of place is the quietness, as the people who work and live in the manor, myself, my parents, our maids, the guards, gardeners, the steward, basically everyone are no longer here.

I picture every memory as I walk to the ancestral temple.

I see Momo waving at the gate, making me turn back to see who she's waving to. Then I realise, it's a young me.

A weak smile settles on my lips.

I can hear Mû qin's voice panting after me,"Come back here, Zanilla!"

I stop for Mû qin, who is running after me to collect her thread.

Then I snap out of it, realising that it is after all, just a memory.

I walk into the ancestral hall, allowing my eyes to travel over the various monuments, some old with age and collecting dust. All of them are my ancestors' monuments, and they are all in the correct order according to generations, which makes it easier for me to place my parents' monuments.

I gingerly pull them from the bag and place them in their specific location. Beneath my grandparents' monument, I perform my kowtow thrice thus paying my respect to them which they so rightfully deserve. Uncontrollable tears start leaking from my eyes.

"Fùqīn and Mûqin, I promise to seek vengeance for your death so that your souls will rest in peace. I will make myself worthy to be your daughter until I get your rights for you, I want you to get back your honor and to be remembered in history. I will change my identity of being your daughter until I earned the right to call myself so. I will fight until my last breath for your rights, I promise you. I will not find peace till I avenge you. Don't worry about me, for I have Chu Feng with me. I miss you so much. I love you," I whisper words of promises and love because somewhere in my mind, I know that this could possibly be the last time I can see them and I may not be able to talk to them again.

I perform my final kowtow and am about to leave when I hear sounds of metal swords clashing against one another, causing reverberated clanging.

Oh no! Chu Feng!
