Zanilla's P.O.VI stare at his face. He has mysterious black eyes which seem a shade darker than night itself. He is quite handsome, I must admit.
He laughs before straightening his face. "I'm joking. What's your name?" He asks, being serious for the first time.
"It's none of your business," I spit back.
"Fine. I guess I'll have to call you foxy lady then," he teases with a smug smile on his face.
"Yang Tian," I quickly spit out as he narrows his eyes on me in disbelief.
"Yang Tian," he tests the name on his tongue, "that's a good name."
Why is he getting serious all of a sudden, despite the joking tone lace in his voice. I stare at him suspiciously.
"Master! Chu Feng has been taken away!" I hear the door slam open with someone yelling through heaving breaths.
I turn with distress evident on my face. The shouting man is now kneeling on his knees. I swiftly stand up.
"Who took him?" I question, even though I have a gut feeling that I know who it was.
"The S- Scars," he pants, his voice quivering.
"I need to save him," I say to no one in particular. I start heading towards the door.
"No. You can't just go and save him," Chen Qi stops me, moving to block my path.
"Who the hell do you think you are to tell me what I can and cannot do?" I yell before circling around him to run to the exit. Before I can reach it, he grabs my hand. I try to wiggle my hand away from his grasp but his grip only tightens.
"Let me go!" I scream. He reaches around my neck and presses a soft spot on my nape, making my eyes close.
"You have to rescue him no matter what and bring him back safely. You will do anything to save him, even if it means ending your own life," I say instructing ten of my best fighters to bring back Chu Feng. I cannot stand seeing Yang Tian in this condition even though I know she will continue to hate me once she awakes from her slumber.
The fighters all nod in unison and starts heading towards Bai Manor, where the Scars are currently camping.
I head back inside the room. She is no longer on the bed, which startles me. I frantically glance around the room and see the window wide open.
"Damn it, Yang Tian," I mumble to myself. I know she's on her way to the Manor.
I head to the weapons room in my manor and slide a sword out its sheath.
Hurry My mind chides. She is still weak and cannot protect herself!
I follow after her.
After some time.
"I am Yang Tian. I am the one you need. Let Chu Feng go and take me instead," I hear her around the corner of the manor.
The fighters I sent are standing behind her sheepishly. How did she manage to stop them from doing their job?
"How could you?" I exclaim, worry. I move to step in front of her, but she ignores me, instead pushes me aside.
"I am the one you need. Bring him to me..."
Inside Bai Manor..."Master, she is here. Why are you not taking her? You can let the bodyguard go, right? Isn't she the person you're looking for?" Wang Yu, the personal servant of Zhang Wei, asks.
Zhang Wei stands at the window, staring down at Zanilla and the other fighters with her.
"Let her go, for now. I want to see if she is as stubborn as her father," Zhang Wei responds before taking a seat.
Outside Bai Manor...
"I am the one you want. Release him and take me instead," Zanilla begs, unwilling to budge.
"I will go inside to find him," Chen Qi tells her, about to head through the entrance when she protests.
"This is my fight. I don't need you to interfere-" But before she can finish her sentence, he has already walk away from her and enter into the manor.
