It had been an hour since you picked out your mask. You had spent basically the entire time in the living room, being taught some basic American sign language. You were now sitting in an uncomfortable chair, hands in your lap. It was time for your introduction, and you really weren't looking forward to it. Skully, Tim, Brian, Kate, and Toby were sitting besides you in their own chairs. You were all sitting right in front of the stage that you hadn't actually seen until now, waiting for everyone to crowd into the room. There was a massive overlap of voices, talking, screaming, yelling, laughing. It was getting progressively louder and louder.

Kate had her arm slung over your shoulder, trying to comfort and ground you with her presence. "It'll be over before you know it, [Name]!" Kate squeezed you gently. You gave her a smile, but she couldn't see it from under your mask. The crowd settled into their seats, loud talking turning to excited mumbling and giggling. After a few more minutes of waiting, a tall being, similar to the one you saw with the young child, walked out on the stage. The difference between it and the other one was that his suit was plain black, and he was missing a face entirely. He radiated a powerful aura, silencing all those who were still talking. Tentacles stretched from his back, making him look bigger than he actually was.

When he spoke, his voice didn't sound like it was emanating from his body, but rather from inside of your own mind. His presence was larger than himself, sinking into you. Becoming part of you. Distantly, you heard static. "Hello, all. Thank you for coming here today." His powerful voice boomed, making you wince. "I'm sure you all know why you're here today. A new proxy is in our midst. I expect you all to treat them with the utmost respect and decency. You should all know by now that there will be punishment if you refuse to abide by this simple rule." He stated. You understood why everyone decided to listen to him. You couldn't even begin to fathom what this being is possible of. You were sure he could easily give anyone a fate worse than death. "With that out of the way, I would like to introduce our newest proxy." He looked over at you. You knew he was looking at you even if he had no eyes to look at you with.

Kate pulled you up, the others standing as well. You reached out to Skully, taking his hand in yours tightly for some comfort as the six of you walked onto the stage, taking place besides Slenderman, you being right next to him. Your stomach churned uncomfortably. You hoped no one would make fun of you for holding Skully's hand. You looked at the others, refusing to look into the crowd of eyes. Staring, watching, criticizing, hungry eyes. Toby gave you a slight smile, Hoodie and Masky just staring. You knew they were trying to comfort you, even though their masks and distance made it hard to.

Slenderman looked at you, before stepping away from the podium and microphone he was in front of. You glanced back at your friends, and stepped up to the microphone, anxious. Skully tugged your hand a little, grabbing your attention. He released your grip for a second to sign something at you. "Introduce yourself. Name, fun fact. Make a good impression." They gave you a thumbs up. You noted somewhere in the back of your mind that they do that a lot. You nodded your head, turning towards the crowd.

"I'm [Name]." You said, trying to steady your voice as much as possible. You were honestly lost on what you should say next. "I'm... I never thought I would be in a position like this, standing before a bunch of unfamiliar faces like this. I hope in my time here that we can at least be able to stand each other." You joked a bit at the end, which went over pretty well. Not really knowing what else there was to be said, you awkwardly shuffled back over to Skully who gave you two thumbs ups. Now that felt like an award. Slenderman resumed his previous location in front of the podium, seeming satisfied with your short introduction.

"Very well. Additionally, it is around the time for me to make the announcement for our annual summer banquet. Starting from now on, a few of you will be chosen to help set the venue up, and will have a month to do so which I see as more than enough time." Murmurs swept across the crowd of odd, inhuman looking people. You wondered what the summer banquet was, and what it entailed. It sounded a bit... mystical, and unfitting for a mansion full of serial killers. Your standards were a bit lowered by this, but you still hoped you would have a good time.
