Finn walked throughout the French Quarter with his hands in his jacket pockets, trying to determine the best course of action to track down his siblings. He would destroy them, he insisted internally. Himself as well. It was what they all deserved. Strangely, the words rang hollow in his head. His hands curled into fists in his pockets, crinkling the business card in his pocket. He paused, pulling the card out to read the information on Dr. Peregrine, a certified Mind Healer. Her office was located in the Garden District.
He shook his head and shoved the card back in his pocket. He resumed walking and he passed by a building that had a rather interesting crest on its walls. It was a shield with a M and a curled-up serpent eating a man on it. Something about it seemed eerily familiar to Finn. As he stared at it a memory came to mind.

He and his siblings were in the beginning days of their stay in Italy when Niklaus posed an interesting question to them all during one of their family dinners. "If we're going to keep posing as nobles then don't you think we need a family crest?" Niklaus asked.
"We have a crest Niklaus," Finn interjected with a tilt of his head as he did his best to ignore the fact that Kol was feeding messily on one of the servants in the corner. "Don't you recall how Father used to always carve it into his weapons?"
"A father who we're trying to hide from!" Rebekah exclaimed heatedly as she slammed her fist on the table to emphasize her point, "I don't think we want to use a crest associated with that man!"
"Maybe you should design a new one for us, brother," Elijah suggested to Niklaus.
"You know I think I shall," Niklaus agreed with a smile.
"Well try to design something that isn't stupid, Nik," Kol requested as he dropped the dead servant to the floor.
"Is that a jab against my style, Kol?" Niklaus asked, edgily.
"Why, yes, yes it, Nik. Clever of you to notice," Kol quipped with an eye-roll.
"Kol!" Elijah scolded him, "Stop trying to antagonize Niklaus."
"But his work is so very obnoxious much like our dear brother, Nik," Kol said like he was itching for a fight. Something Niklaus was happy to oblige since he tackled Kol out the window.

Finn shook the memory away as he headed into the building without realizing it was private property. A man with a hat blocked his path. "Hey there," the man said. "Is there a reason you're just strolling into private property without an invitation?"
"I want to speak with the owner of this house," Finn responded, seriously.
"Whoa man," he replied, "You can't just walk into Marcel's house without permission. So, I've got to ask you to leave."
"Thierry, what the ruckus happening in my entryway?" A different man asked arriving in a burst of speed beside Thierry. The man's voice triggered another memory.
〰〰〰
"That's Finn?" An unfamiliar male voice asked. Finn could tell that someone had opened his coffin and that this man was leaning over him.
"Yes, that's my oldest brother," his sister, Rebekah, confirmed. Finn was startled at her voice for she hadn't visited him in a very long time.
"Why is he daggered?" the man asked. "Is Klaus telling the truth when he says that Finn's a dullard?" Finn scowled internally at his brother's immaturity.
