Bethany's POV

I was almost positive and happy it was Grayson.

But no, it was Jack.

"See you tomorrow at work." Sam said as he got in his car and sped off.

"Thanks." I spoke.

"No problem."

"Is this the part where you ask me if I need a ride?" I said smiling.

"I totally would if I had a car."
I laughed and soon we were both laughing together.

"I'm serious!"

"No I know!" I said still laughing.

"I can walk you home though if you want."

"Sure, but can we stop and get some frozen yogurt first?"

"Of course. C'mon." he said putting his arm out so I my hand can wrap around it.

How cheesy right?

We began walking until we reached the yogurt place.

I always got oreo flavored, topped it with some strawberries, some gummy worms, and some oreo cookie crumbs, and finally some caramel.

Taste better than it sounds trust me.

Jack offered to pay and I didn't even argue.
We we're now just a couple blocks away from my house. The weather was perfect.

"So do you have a ride to the party?" he asked obviously trying to make conversation.

"Yeah, my friend Chelsea.. You?"

"Nah, I'm walking. I know that I'm bound to get faded so I don't wanna have to strand my moms car. She would kill me.

"Haha, my mom would kill me if I even got drunk."

"It's not that my mom wasn't care, because she does. She know's I'm responsible but she understands because she was a teenager once."

"Both my grandparents were strict on my parents. So they teach me the way they were raised. Of course I break rules sometimes because we are a different generation now. But I don't get drunk at every party I go too."

"Yeah I get you."

"Well this is my house, thanks for the yogurt, I had a good time."

"Me too, and no problem, my pleasure." he said putting both his hands in his jean pockets.

"Well, goodnight." I said.

He walked up to me and kissed my cheek. "Goodnight." and he started walking away.

"See you at the party!" I said before walking into my house.

"See ya!" he winked at me.

I walked into an empty house. Or at least I thought it was empty...
