06. Marriage Proposal

Felix POV

I woke up to loud yelling noises coming from downstairs. I was quite surprised that the sound even reached my room in this big ass mansion.

I heard Minho yelling at someone and quickly got out of bed heading downstairs.

I was walking down the stairs there I saw Dad and Minho arguing I stayed on the stairs listening to their conversation.

"Have you lost your mind lix wont even get to blink before he would die there" Minho said with anger in every inch of his voice.

"Watch your tone young man" Dad warned "Should I talk to you respectfully after what you just told me?" Minho scoffed

"MINHO!" My dad yelled.

"MINHO WHAT!? YOU HAVE GONE CRAZY THE ONLY THING YOU CARE ABOUT IS YOU AND YOUR DAMN COMPANY! YOU CARE ABOUT IT SO MUCH THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY KILL US FOR IT IF IT GIVES YOU PROFIT" Minho yelled back

"YOU UNGRATEFUL BRAT" My dad yelled as he slapped Minho. I quickly ran upto him.

"Hyung are you okay?"I asked him and he slightly nodded giving me a smile. he looked back at my father glaring at him and my father did the same.

"Even if you're our father dont think you can rule over us. You can't just sell Felix without his permission to a complete stranger especially when its a Hwang" Minho said.

My eyes went wide. My dad was doing what. Sell me? to a hwang? A fucking HWANG!?

"What?" I let out dumbfounded
"You are getting married to Mr. Hwangs son Hwang Hyunjin. I got a marriage proposal from the Hwangs yesterday and we are also going to meet them for dinner today"

A Marriage proposal?

"Appa you cant-" I started

"They're company is going to collab with us in return of his son and you getting married. Now atleast be of some use and put that face and body to some work"  My dad cut me off

My mouth shut just tears kept on rolling down my eyes."How can you talk like that to you're own fucking son" Minho asked in disbelief as he embraced me. Dad just sighed and left. "Hyung what d-do I do?"

I cried in Minho's chest as he patted my head."I am sorry lix, we can't do anything" I knew as much as we both want to we can't do anything. We cant go against our father.

I sighed and pulled away from the hug. "Hyung I will go take a shower"

~Time Skip~

Hyunjin POV

I put down the gun and took a tissue from near by wiping off my sweat. I had practiced more then required. I sighed as I left the shooting arena going to my room.

After I showered I went downstairs to have lunch I was still very exhausted and hungry. "Hey Hyun" Jisung said as  I came down the stairs "Hey" I sighed and sat down next to him.

He didn't say anything more after he saw me he knew I wasnt in the mood. I am glad he knew that or if I got frustrated I dont know what I would have said to him.

Soon after mom and dad joined us at the table and we started having our lunch. As we ate my dad suddenly spoke up.

"So Hyunjin" He started "yes pa" I asked "as you know you are going to be taking over soon" He continued "-and to take over you must have a partner you know that already right?" Dad asked and I nodded "so I decided to get you married-" "WHAT!" I let out my eyes wide in shock.

Dad just looked at me with ice cold eyes and my mom cleared her throat signalling me to let dad continue and so I did. I fixed my posture and my eyes went back to normal.

"So as I was saying I planned your marriage with Mr. Lee's son-" I accidentally cut him off "son?" I asked "yes son, do you have a problem with that" Dad asked and I shook my head. I was bisexual so yeah.

"Great, they are going to meet us for dinner today so be ready" he said then turned towards Jisung "and you.. if you mess up anything be ready to live on the streets." Dad said and Jisung looked down. We all continued the rest of our lunch in silence.

After lunch I went to my room and laid down on my bed huffing out a breath.Fuck! I am getting married. I am not ready yet. I have to get it cancelled but I know dad wont listen to me for sure.

I groaned as I stood back up walking out of my room. I still had shit to do I cant just sit and complain.

~Time Skip~

Felix POV

I sighed as I stared out the window of my room. I looked at the sky a few stars were visible, it was a full moon today. It reminded me of when I was younger, how mom used to sit with me in the front yard and tell me stories as we looked at the moon.

I smiled to myself as I thought of her beautiful face under the moonlight, how I was always shocked at her beauty when I was younger. She used to tell me that I was even prettier but I didn't believe her and I still dont.

I look like shit with these ugly freckles while she looked so pretty with them. It looked like they were stars on her face, for me they look like weird, ugly spots.

I looked at my phone as it rang I picked up the call without checking the caller ID.

"Hello?" I asked

"Hello Lix" The voice came from the other side of the call.

SeoJun? I thought as I quickly checked my caller ID and it was indeed him.

"Oh hey whats up why did you call?"
I asked

"Why, cant I call you now?"

"To be honest I dont think you can"

"What?"

"Jun, I am sorry but we cant be together anymore"

"What do you mean? Why not? What happened? Lix??"

"I am getting married"

I sighed

"What!! Why??"

"Because my dad said so I am sorry"

"But I love you Lix-"

I dropped the call.

I may have been very rude but I didnt have a choice either. To be honest I had lost feeling for him long ago but didn't know how to tell him so I guess I am thankful for this marriage--- hell no this is even worse.

I groaned as I remembered about the dinner with the Hwangs. Why did it have to be today like let me get out of this shock first. Fuck!

I checked the time and I had one hour till we had the dinner. I groaned once again and went to the washroom to freshen up and get ready for the dinner.

I guess this is the first step
