Hubris was sneaking out of the palace one day. He made his way to the village to the local alchemist to grab what he needed for his plan.

"Oh, hello your highness." The alchemist greets. "What can I do for you today?"

"What's your most lethal poison?" Hubris asked.

The alchemist went to the back and grabbed a really small glass bottle that contained red liquid.

"That would be this sir." The alchemist spoke as he handed the bottle to Hubris.

Hubris cracked a wicked grin on his face.

When Hubris returned back to the palace, he was trying to figure out how to have his plan go into action.

Hubris checked to see Persephone and Hades in the dining hall, waiting for dinner to be served.

A light bulb lit up in his head as he makes his way to the kitchen.

Hubris noticed two flutes filled with wine on a tray then looked both ways to see if any of the chefs were looking.

They weren't.

Hubris quickly opened the bottle of poison as he scurried his way to the tray of wine. Hubris quickly dumped the poison in both wine glasses and ran out the kitchen before he was caught.

Hubris watched from around the corner to see the tray getting picked up and delivered to the dining hall, which filled him with glee.

"Ohhh, killing two birds with one stone." Hubris thought to himself as he watch Hades and Persephone getting ready to dine on tonight's dinner.

Hubris walked off with a wicked grin.

"Soon I'll have a throne with my name on it...and it'll be King Hubris." Hubris thought as he let out an evil laugh.

Clotho was with Lida.

She snuck out the palace earlier to find Lida and wind up finding her in the woods.

"So, your dad hunts? That's cool." Clotho comments.

"Yeah, I come from a family of hunters." Lida explains.

"Shit, my dad only serves us food that's royal." Clotho explains. "In other words, food with their ingredients being from the richest gardens."

Lida chuckles.

"Yeah, me and my family aren't picky with our food." Lida giggles.

Clotho wishes that a moment like this would last forever.

In fact...

What if it could? If Clotho could tell her how she feels.

"Um, Lida?" Clotho began. "There's something I need to get off my chest."

Lida began to sweat bullets.

"Oh no, she knows!" Lida thought.

"I...like you, no, no, I think I'm in love with you." Clotho admits.

Lida immediately relaxes but then sighs.

"Clotho, I think you're a really cool girl to hang out with...a-and I like you too but, there's something about me that you wouldn't like." Lida confesses.

"What do you mean? You have everything that I like; a nice personality, a fighting spirit, and you're not full of yourself unlike my...husband." Clotho lists.

Lida chuckled as she looked to see the sun setting.

"Well, if that's the case...there's something I need to get off my chest as well." Lida admits as she stood up.
