"MARI!!!" Bea said, jumping on my bed.

"What? How did you get in?" I said getting up.

"Wake up! I'm hungry. And your mom let me in right before she left."

"Oh."

"I brought donuts too."

"Well let me get ready and I'll be down." I said as she walked out. I got up and grabbed some clothes and walked to the bathroom. I decided to take a shower tonight. I put on black ripped skinny jeans and grey top that ties at the bottom. I brushed out my hair and let it fall naturally. I put on mascara and some lipgloss. I ran downstairs to Bea. She was watching American Horror Story: Murder House as she was digging into her donut. She didn't have Netflix so she'd come over to watch it. This was her first time watching AHS and it shocked me. I had seen this over a billion times. I sat down next to here and grabbed a donut from the box on the coffee table.

"So, Tate huh?" I said.

"Hot af." She said.

"You have a boyfriend, you slut." I said, laughing.

"Sammy doesn't care, he agrees." She said, getting really into the episode. I laughed and scrolled through my phone. The episode finally ended and she turned off the tv.

"Let's talk." she said.

"About what?" I said.

"Jack and you. How come you hated him for four years and when he asked you out, you said yes."

"I liked him since sophomore year when I was forced to be partners with him. He made me smile and laugh. But I started to hate him again in junior year when he started to become more of a player and sleeping with every girl but I still liked him. Then this year he started flirting with me. I didn't care at first but then I started to like him more and the hatred died down. And when he asked me out I wanted to say yes right away but I didn't want to seem desperate so that's why that night we talked about what I should say. He's probably using me anyways. It's confusing." I said, laying back on the couch.

"Wow, I didn't know you liked him in 10th grade."

"Because I never told you. I felt like if I did, you and Dylan would make it so obvious."

"Psst no we wouldn't," Bea said, laughing. "Let's go to the skate park?"

"Sure, why the hell not?" I said. Bea, gladly, brought her longboard. I grabbed mine and we left.

(A/n) short chapter but the next one is better (I think) and longer (like I said, I think lol) anyways I hope you like it. Thanks for reading, bye :]
