After about 30 minutes, we finally pulled into this small house in a little neighborhood.

We got out and nervously walked to the door, not knowing what to expect. I mean she hasn't seen me since I was little, and I doubt she will know me.

Matt grabs my hand when he notices me, and knocks on the door.

"It'll be okay baby, calm down. There is nothing to be nervous about." He says calmly.

"Ha easy for you to say Espinosa." I snap back.

"Oka-" He gets cut off by the voice on the other side of the door.

"Who is it?" The voice sounded uneasy, and old.

We must have the wrong house.

"I'm sorry, I'm looking for Jackie uhh, Gengrich I think. Sorry I must have the wrong address." I exclaim, walking away with Matt following behind.

The lady suddenly unlocks the door, opening it.

"Wait..." She says. "Jackie is at the store right now and won't be back until 5." She finishes, standing in the door frame.

"Oh well could we wait inside until she gets back its only uhh..." I check the time on my phone and it reads 4:25 pm. "It's only 4:25. Plus me and my boyfriend have been trying to find her all day, please?" I finish, trying to persuade her.

She sighs. "I guess you can, but don't touch anything. I've been cleaning ever since she left and the house is spotless, so don't touch anything." She repeats, allowing us to walk inside.

It's such a small cute house. The inside was filled with pictures of her family, friends, and places she has traveled to. So cute.

It's also occupied with an old lady that's grumpy as hell.

"How long have you known Jackie?" She asks, as Matt and I sit on the plastic covered couch.

"Well I don't really know her that well, but my mom was best friends with her for a very long time so..." I reply.

She didn't ask anymore questions or say anything, so we say there in silence as Matt held my hand, tracing circles with his fingers.

"Dammit, I don't get any good signal here." Matt whispered.

"Haha it's not that bad." I joked.

"Yeah? Well let me see your phone then ms. perfect cell service." He sassed.

"Okay." I sassed, handing him my phone.

He looked at it and frowned a little, then smiled really big.

"Aha, told you the cell service sucks here." He smiled, knowing he was right.

"Whatever Espinosa." I laughed sarcastically.

"Haha it doesn't matter though because we're next to each other so I don't need my phone." He smiled, trying to be sweet.

"You're a card, you know that?" I smiled back.

"I know." He smiled, wrapping his arm around me.

The door opened.

"Hello Jackie." The old lady welcomed her as the lady put her keys on the table, not even noticing us.

"Hey mom. How are you? Did you take your meds today?" She asked.

"Honey don't bash me with questions, but yes I did. I'm good. My blood pressure is normal and so is my sugar level..." She carried on.

"That's good mom." She walked back outside, returning with armfuls of grocery bags.

"Oh Jackie, these people are here to see you. They claim they know you..." She said, pointing.

"Ha, I didn't even notice them." She said, placing her bags down.

She walked over to us, as Matt and I stood to greet her.

"Hi, you must be Ms. Jackie." I said reaching my hand out to shake hers.

"Hi..." She shook my hand. "And you are?" She looked at me.

"Oh my name is (Y/N). This is my boyfriend Matthew Espinosa." They shook hands.

"Nice handshake sir." She told him.

"Thank you." He spoke.

"Wait, who are you again?" She asked me as we all kept standing.

"My name is (Y/N). You probably know my mom, (Y/M/N). She told me you and her used to be like best friends and then as I got older she didn't see you as much." I told her.

"Wait a minute..." She looked baffled as she tried to remember. "Ohhhhh." it finally clicked. "I remember. (Y/N), how are you? It's been so long. I haven't seen you since you were 3. Oh my goodness and now you've grown up and got yourself a handsome boyfriend." She smiled, looking at Matt, causing him to blush and smile.

"Thank you!" Matt said.

"You're welcome! Oh sit, sit!" She exclaimed. "I'll finish getting the last few groceries really quick, make yourselves comfortable." She said before walking out the door and returning with the last few bags.

She went into the kitchen and came back to have a seat next to us.

"So what are you here for exactly?" She smiled looking at both of us.

"Well I was hoping you knew this kid that's been uh bothering me." I say looking at my hands.

"Okay what's their name?" She asks.

"Cameron, Cameron Dallas." I reply.

"Hmm, sounds very familiar." She says.

"You may have known his mom, Gina Dallas. She should be around your age." Matt says, hoping to get some answers.

"Wait..." She pauses. "Gina Dallas?" She asks.

"Yesmam." Matt and I reply at the same time.

"She used to live next door, but they moved to Los Angeles about a year or two ago." She tells us.

"Oh my goodness, I'm so glad you know her. Yay!" I smile really big.

"Okay, I need to know everything you know about the Dallas family. Preferably about Cameron." I look at her.

"Uh, okay...." She starts.
