I ain't even get to go on my trip because I was sick like I was throwing up, coughing and other stuff
I gotta go make sure I ain't got no baby in me
I made it to the doctor's office and parked then got out
I went in, signed in and the receptionist gave me the paper to fill out
Once I filled it all out I gave it back to her and sat down waiting to get called
I played Rod Wave in my AirPods until I got called
"Essex Carter." The nurse said
Youn even know me like that...
"That's me." I said getting up
I followed her to the room. "The doctor will be with you soon." She said and I nodded before she left the room
When the doctor came I took my AirPods out. "Hi, Essex." She said and I sent a fake smile her way
"Hi." I said
"So you've been experiencing nausea, vomiting, coughing, and headaches." She said washing her hands
"Yes." I said
"Is there any possibility you're pregnant?" She asked putting on her gloves
"Yeah." I said
"Okay, we're gonna run a test for strep, flu, and covid then test you for pregnancy." She said
"Is that okay with you?" She asked
"Yes." I said
"Okay." She said
She stuck some shit up my nose, it didn't hurt but it felt weird as hell then she gave me a cup to pee in
"Lord, I hope this man ain't try and take me out the game." I said peeing in the cup
I'll be at Planned Parenthood so fast boy
I finished and closed the cup then washed my hands and went back to the room giving her the cup
After like 10 minutes she came back. "Good news and bad news." She said
"What is it?" I asked
"You're not pregnant but you do have the flu." She said
"That's fine." I said
Babies permanent, flu temporary
"I know you're happy you're not pregnant, I'm gonna prescribe you some medicine for your flu that you'll take once day. I'm gonna send it to the CVS, it should be there in about a hour or two." She said
