Dylan's POV:

'Together everyone. Now!' I yelled trying to get my team's attention but also seeming to get the opposing teams as well.

'One last thing before the match starts you guys know their weak spots we've beaten them before this time is no different' I spoke confidently using my motivational voice which is kept for times like these. My team nodded back to me in response. I clapped as they all spread out to their positions and I got into mine in the wing. Facing directly Milo Finch himself. I looked over at him and he was glancing all around analysing my team. I released a light chuckle I almost admire him, he doesn't let anything get past him, he is much more a strategist with lots of plans whereas I am more play good football and win. I run one of my hands through my dark hair causing it to fall not as much in my face. This caught Milos's attention and he was now staring at me with what looked like the most intimidating stare he could muster, and for someone that isn't me it probably was scary, but he just looked like Milo looking like an idiot. However, I decided to play his game and I bend down with both hand on my knees giving him a dark stare that I know sent shivers down his spine.

'I want a nice and fair match today fellas it would make my job a lot easier thank you' Commanded the referee. A couple of seconds went by and he blew the whistle for the beginning of the match.

The other team was in possession of the ball and they were making quick progress on our goal it was clear they had been training a lot between now and the last time we had a match, they were quicker and smoother with the ball just not enough. Across from me Milo got passed the ball and was sprinting down the pitch I knew the defender wouldn't be able to catch him and I quickly charged towards him. He must have sensed me due to as we were running toward each other he glanced at me. I lunged for the ball like the last time I tried to take the ball from him but he performed move which meant that the ball went around me and safely back to him feet.

'What the fuck' I exerted in shock.

'Don't cry about it' He yelled back at me running on with the ball.

No way am I letting him get away with that as I sprinted back towards him as fast as I could shocking him and myself in the process as I caught up to him in a matter of seconds. Due to his surprise, he was vulnerable leading me to be able to take the ball straight from his feet and make my way done the other side of the pitch. Unfortunately the other team next to all of them were near our goal which just led to me sprinting down the wing and dodging the defenders giving me a clear goal. Nathan pounced on my first hugging me in celebration as did Issac who was cheering loudly.

'Okay guys we haven't won yet' I stated in a light-hearted tone.

'Don't be so modest, Jesus you never are. That was an amazing goal' Shrieked Ben.

Everyone started to calm down and make their way back to their position as I got to mine I once again faced Milo eager to see his defeated face and to my surprise he looked more determined than ever, normally by this time in the match he would have given up already. Turns out this match will be more interesting than expected.

Milo's POV:

I knew they were going to score first the whole team did it was a silent agreement that we were aware that it took us time in a match to find our feet. I believe we have found it. Shortly after their goal, we equalled the score board to their shock. The rest of the match was intense and tiring neither team wanting or willing to lose this match with there reputation on the line. It was down to the last 5 minutes and the score was 2-2 and neither team were budging both playing defensive. It was now or never I whistled my team letting them know that we were going to try a play we have been trying to perfect during training for the past couple weeks. Lifting my top to wipe the sweat of my forehead revealed toned abs created by hours of training of which I was very proud of but still when I noticed Dylan looking at me and glancing his eyes slowly down to my abs I couldn't help but feel a little insecure I wasn't ashamed of my body but I know that Dylan has a body I could only wish for. I quickly let go of my top allowing it to cover my stomach and Dylan quickly averted his eyes like he was looking at something he shouldn't.

Luca was doing a through in from the mid way point but instead of throwing it towards where we are meant to be sharing he through it to one of are defender who were right next to the goal. That cause a race the home goal. On the other hand I sprinted as fast as I could to the other side of the pitch next to are going and Cole booted it to much and a quickly took my last final steps and took the shot into the goal.

It was a goal!! I would like to pretend I didn't cry but as my teams mate jumped on me an cheered I know a could drops rolled out of my eyes not that I would ever admit that. Celebration filled the pitch by our managers and coaches who were equally as amazed by the move. As time passed the referee tried to move us along to shake hands with the Bears so we could go home and celebrate in other ways. I was last in the line walking down the tine some players of North Pine Academy held my hand more tightly then necessary but I let it slide not letting anything ruin my mood. The final players hand I needed to shade was Dylan. Who looked to say the least scary. I reach out my hand which he swiftly took.

'Good game enjoy the celebrating tonight' He gritted while pulling a smirk but it wasn't his usual one this one was filled with spite.

'I will thank you' I grinned pulling my hand away to follow the rest of my team into the locker to celebrate further in there leaving the opposing team to sulk on the pitch.

While in the locker room everyone got there chance to say some words or chant whatever made them happy. I try again and again to convince myself that winning and losing doesn't matter but it feels so good to win that its hard not to care. After things had calmed down a bit in the locker room Luca turned to me.

'There is no way you are missing are celebration party now' He stated with a convincing smile on his face

'Ugh idk the other team are going to be there as well' I sighed not wanting to see them again so soon.

'Well, yeah that's the whole point its meant to be celebrating the end of a season with loads of teams and considering Lacey is one of the main host I'm surprised she hasn't forced you' He said with s chuckle

'She has' I reply with a reluctant sigh 'I guess I don't have a choice'.
