Alisha's eyes dilated with excitement as she read the contents of the flyer that was being shared in the class by the social prefect after giving a brief speech of how exciting and cool the costume day was going to be.
"The next big event in this school is this!"
Well, costume day is one of the best events in school where you don't have to wear uniforms but a costume that you get to express yourself. And probably get your favorite character in a movies or cartoon come to life.
That's great cause I am wearing my pajamas to school. There was going to be a party ending by 6pm. I probably wouldn't stay for that. I'll just stay for the classes and go home early.
Bringing Aubree-In-Pajamas to life isn't bad at all.
"What are you going to be wearing?" Alisha nudged me by the shoulder.
"Who cares?" I smirked.
"This is very important for us. I was thinking of going through Pinterest for ideas. What about dressing as an anime character? We need something that'll get us an award."
An award for best costume. I wish they give awards for worst costumes ever. I'll probably win that this year.
"Excuse me. Can I get your attention?" My thoughts were interrupted by Triton who was standing in front of the class.
He looked so smart in his pressed uniform. He wore his glasses today. His dark skinned body glowed as sun rays flooded the classroom through the windows.
"You always have our attention, handsome!" Girls screamed out giggling and squealing.
What's the deal?!
He grinned adjusting his tie.
"Growing up I watched my dad working, listening to people. He's a therapist. You know what a therapist does?"
"Someone who listens to insane people." Fred commented.
The class bursted into peals of laughter like he had a great sense of humor. Alisha frowned hissing loudly.
Triton continued without minding at all.
"A therapist is someone who listens to guide you through problematic emotions or just anything. And I've always been told i make a good therapist by my friends. And walking towards my dream, I've decided I want to listen to people, guide them and help them to rediscover themselves." He said shyly looking down at his shoes.
Guys booed. Obviously the jealous guys. Every guy was starting to feel insecure since he came, in Alisha's voice.
"Go on!" The girls said out loudly.
"In short, if you are looking for someone to talk to about something bothering you. You can give me a call. We could have lunch together and discuss until you don't feel a pain again or probably play a video game together. Anything. I will share my contact card round the class. Thank you." He said walking away.
