When Roja was born, he immediately had to learn how to do stuff by himself. He needed to learn how to cook, clean, and even read by himself. Needless to say, he became a pretty independent person overall. By the time he was 7, he had learned everything the average adult would have learned. He always got teased by his brother for stupid reasons, that didn't even matter to him all that much.
A week after Roja's thirteenth birthday, his parents sat him down to talked to him. He wasn't used to his parents communicating with him whatsoever, so he knew almost immediately it would be bad news. They told him he was being sent to the SFM, and he had five days to prepare. He was livid, but he couldn't deny his parents. He packed up and left after five days.
In the military, he met a girl named Patch. She was a beautiful, kind, polite girl who was on the opposite side as him. During battles, they'd secretly meet to talk and do stuff together. Soon, the two of them formed a relationship that lasted almost two years. Roja opened up to Patch, and even told her about his sides plans. The relationship soon ended when Roja figured out Patch had been telling all the information to her captain, giving him even more severe trust issues then he originally had.
He soon returned and formed a rivalry with his brother Commander, for obvious reasons. The both of them would constantly make "Assassination" attempts on each other, which always failed. Their youngest brother, Kyo, held the entire family together. He'd have them complete in turf wars together as a team, before they formed an official team titled "Team Amythist".
