THE IDEA OF INCONVENIENCING anyone struck a major sense of horror inside of Charlie. He's the type of person that would rather remain uncomfortable than put someone out or ask them for favours. It's how he's always been, and though there's times where it does cause problems, he doesn't feel any particular way about changing who he is.

He takes pride in his ability to conceal his emotions, for the most part succeeding quite well. But he tends to forget how well his members knows him; they can decipher even the faintest trace of feeling in him, which is both endearing and annoying when he doesn't want to open up.

Knowing exactly how stubborn he could be, Jisung decided to go to Felix when he first realized that something was off. Charlie had been in the bathroom for at least half an hour now, and he was a fidgeting mess beforehand.

"Is Hyung still in the bathroom?" Jisung asked, causing Felix to look up from his phone. The Australian scanned the room for a moment before nodding, a frown now prominent on his lips.

"Hm yeah. He went a while ago... has he been in there this whole time?"

Jisung nodded worriedly, fiddling with the rings on his hands. "I'm a little concerned, he seemed really off not long ago."

"What are you two whispering about?" Hyunjin made his presence known, kicking Felix's leg aside so he could sit down between them, disliking the fact that he was being left out of the conversation.

"Charlie Hyung."

"Oh. I saw him like forty minutes ago. Is he okay? He didn't side eye me like he usually does."

"There's definitely something wrong. He never misses a chance to judge Hyunjin," said Jisung. "What do we do?"

The group of three stared at each other for a moment before they called for one name in sync. "Channie Hyung!"

As fast as lightening, the leader barged into the room, alarmed by the urgency in their tone. This alerted the attention of the other members, who all gathered around the trio looking as equally concerned and confused as Chan.

"What's going on? You're gonna give old man over here a heart attack, he can't handle one of those at his age," Seungmin joked though his face was completely serious. Chan responded with an over the top sarcastic laugh in return.

"We're worried about Charlie..." Felix spoke up first.

"He's been off all day and hasn't left the bathroom in at least forty five minutes. And unless he's having a killer shit right now, it seems like a cause for concern," Jisung added with a sigh.

The room was still for a moment before the door suddenly creaked, drawing everyone's attention. Charlie, with his swollen face and glassy eyes, tried to give off a casual vibe, but it was obvious he wasn't feeling himself.

"What is this? A mothers meeting? Why are you all gathered like that?" He took a seat and crossed his arms, absentmindedly laying a pillow across his lap which didn't go unnoticed by Chan, Minho or Felix. The three shared a look.

"Are you okay?" Seungmin asked bluntly.

Charlie nodded. "Mhm. Are you?"

"Yeah i'm okay, but i'd be better if you were honest about why you just spent almost fifty minutes in the bathroom."

Seungmin wasn't one to beat around the bush, and usually, it's one of the main things that Charlie loved about him but today, it was his least favourite quality.
