Arabelle's POV

By the time everyone got back it was 11ish and if someone's keeping score, Eddie owed me 500 dollars. Dad and I, still aren't on talking terms, Bobby's making lunch, and everyone else is talking or doing their own thing. I was sitting down reading a book  or well trying to read a book that I brought. Good Girls Guide to Murder. Someone sat across from me.

"What'cha reading," Hen asked.

"A book," I replied.

She laughed, "What's the name of the book?"

I pointed to the cover as I kept reading.

"Good Girls Guide to Murder? Murder mystery?" She asked

"Yeah," I said as I continued reading.

Just then someone came up from behind me and took the book out of my hand.

"Hey!" I said as I turned around to see Eddie with my book.

"You've been reading all day," he said.

"By all day you mean 2 hours," I replied.

"Well now that you're not reading, someone needs to talk to you," Bobby says.

I raised an eyebrow.

Bobby pointed to the locker room. I saw dad sitting there. I let out a loud sigh.

"You have to talk to him eventually," Bobby said.

"Yeah, eventually. Not now," I replied.

"You might not have another chance," Bobby said.

"I'll talk to him later, I promise, and I never break my promises," I said.

memories of what happened with Jessica came back. I promised her that she would be okay.

"Hey, Earth to Robin," Chimney said snapping his fingers in front of me.

"What," I said as I slapped his hand away.

"You good, girl," Hen asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I replied.

"Good, now go talk to him," Bobby said.

"But..." I started but was cut off by Eddie.

"One of us will drag you over there if we have to," Eddie said.

I glared at him.

"Okay get up," Eddie said.

I didn't budge. Eddie was about to pick me up, but the alarm rung.

"Saved by the bell," Chimney said as everyone ran off.

"Yeah," I replied, but I had this feeling that something bad was going to happen, like something was off or wrong.
