The Third Beta, Chapter 1 (Part 2)

Scarlett biked through the school parking lot while ignoring the injury from last night as she thought about the guy who took her to the hospital. She found him to be handsome and kind and checked most of her boxes and she would make it to the bike rack as she locked up her bike. Then a silver Porsche pulled up beside her and out came the girl that Scarlett had a slight crush on but was largely overshadowed by her dislike of her. Jackie in all of her glory got out of her car as she looked at Scarlett as she said.

"Try not to scratch the paint with that bike of yours."

Before Scarlett could respond, Jackie would be called off to the side by a group of lacrosse players, Jackie took another look at Scarlett as she smiled and walked off and left Scarlett dazed and confused. She snapped back to reality shortly after as she walked over to the front of the school to meet up with stiles to discuss what happened last night, As she found sitting on a nearby bench but he got up as he saw her and walked towards.

"Damnit, I should have told you to come out instead of letting you stay out there on your own. You got attacked by some kind of animal."

Scarlett let her shirt fall back down to its original position after letting stiles look at her wound, she would then start walking towards the entrance to the school building as she said.

"It wasn't that bad. All things considered besides having a chunk of me torn out, I got to meet a pretty cool and may I add hot dude. Too bad I forgot to ask for his number and I think it was a wolf that attacked me."

Stiles stopped as they reached the stairs as there weren't any wolves in california for a good couple decades, and so he brought this up to Scarlett.

"You couldn't have been bitten by a wolf because we don't have wolves in california, at least for the last sixty years with the exception of a couple zoos."

Scarlett would be a bit confused considering that she heard howls but she decided not to bring it because she probably misheard, she then remembered that she found the body and she then said.

"Well Ignoring what possibly bit me, I found the body last night after you left but before I got attacked. It was really creepy and I will probably have nightmares for weeks."

Stiles would get Ecstatic that Scarlett found the body while disappointed that he wasn't there to help find it, He then responded with a very exciting tone that didn't seem to find the current topic since it was about a dead body.

"That's Freaking amazing, man I wish I had been there to see your expression and body. This may be the most exciting thing to happen in this town since-."

Before Stiles could finish his sentence, Lydia would enter his vision and be one of the most beautiful and popular students in the school besides maybe jackie. This attracted all of his attention as he began to formulate the rest of his words around her.

"The birth of Lydia Martin. Hey, Lydia, you look like you are going to ignore me."

And she would Ignore stiles as she walked right past him towards her class as she currently didn't have the time to deal with whatever was going on with him. Which left Stiles speechless as she stood there with Scarlett for a second before recovering and saying.

"You know you did this to me by dragging me down with you to your nerdy depths and you know that half the girls that I try to talk to think that we are dating? And the worst thing about this is that you found your knight in shining armor last night and I am being ignored."

Scarlett got confused by the second part of that statement as they were like brother and sister. She just ignored it and began to walk to class with stiles trailing behind her as they talked for a while before arriving at their first class for the day. The Teacher talked about the body for a little while and the syllabus but Scarlett didn't care enough to pay attention as she started to zone out. Soon she heard a low rumble of a car engine but that didn't make sense since she was inside. She would look outside as she saw a certain black Dodge Charger as she saw the mystery stranger from last night step out. Her attention would then shift to a girl that seemed to be on the phone with her mother and she would be confused by the fact that she could hear the conversation.
