CHAPTER 3

Jenny decided that it was time to make changes in her life. She had spent so long living according to what others wanted for her that she had lost sight of what truly made her happy. She began to focus on her passions and what she wanted for herself, instead of what her parents or anyone else expected of her.

One day, while working on a new song in her studio, she received a call from her mother.

"Jenny, I just wanted to call and say congratulations on your recent success. Your father and I were watching your television interview, and we are so proud of you," her mother said.

Jenny felt her heart swell with happiness. It was the first time her parents had expressed genuine pride in her musical endeavors.

"Thank you, Mom. That means a lot to me," she replied, feeling emotional.

"I know things were difficult between us when you first started pursuing music, but we want you to know that we support you fully now. We were just scared for you, that's all," her mother explained.

Jenny could feel the tears forming in her eyes. She had spent so many years feeling distant from her parents and their expectations that she had almost given up on the idea of them ever understanding her passions.

"Thank you, Mom. I appreciate your support," she said, feeling a sense of relief.

After the call, Jenny realized that sometimes people can change and grow. Her parents had finally come to respect her choices, and it felt like a burden had been lifted off her shoulders.

As she continued to work on her music, Jenny felt more confident than ever before. She had taken control of her life and followed her heart, and it had led her to success. She had found her true passion in life and was finally living on her own terms.

Looking around her studio, Jenny felt grateful for all that she had accomplished. Her music had given her a sense of purpose and belonging that she had never experienced before.

"Maybe things can work out if we're patient enough," she thought to herself.

After all the events that had occurred in her life, Jenny had learned that sometimes, the hardest battles are the ones we fight within ourselves. But with perseverance and determination, we can come out on top and find the happiness we deserve.
