The seven boys were relaxedly lying on their towels, sunbathing and chilling after playing in the water and eating.

Jeongin and Changbin were listening to the playlist they had made with their favourite songs sharing earbuds, holding hands and stealing little peeks of eachother, silently giggling when they unintentionally made eye contact.

Jisung was listening to his favourite Queen compilation with his headphones blasting almost at full volume, so high that the music could almost be heard by the others as well.

Hyunjin and Felix had somehow stuck beside eachother the whole day, both happy that they got to spend an amazing day with their friends and their crush. Even if they weren't together, deep inside they wished that this moment in which they were lying next to eachother on their towels, sand slipping between their toes and skins gently brushing against eachother, would've lasted forever. Although they knew that couldn't happen, their hearts still held tightly on this selfish wish of young boys. The only things they could keep on doing were getting lost in the other's eyes and stare at eachother's smile like it was the most amazing work of art ever invented.

Chan had found some good amount of peace of mind, enough to let him relax and get a small nap, still waking up every now and then to just fall asleep again.

Seungmin, instead, was busy reading. He had stopped taking care of his hobby due to exams and his random block, but he was now able to finish his "1984" by George Orwell, a book that really got him invested.

He'd be totally in the world of Winston and Julia, scared for their life as they were, if only he didn't hear the light shuffling and the quiet breaths of a certain black-haired next to him.

He couldn't help but glance at him from time to time, sneaking little peeks of the face he was now used to see decorated by a pretty smile.

He also couldn't help but notice small things that almost made him forget about the book he was reading, mesmerised by the other's features.

The closed eyelids and the relaxed expression, the way the sun made some golden dots spread on the bridge of his nose and cheeks stand out more, the gorgeous curves of those pink lips that made him feel things he couldn't find a name for...

He finally gave up on reading and just kept staring at the older, placing his book in his bag, not forgetting to put a bookmark at the page he had previously turned to.

Looking at the black-haired, he was too distracted from hearing his own heart pounding hard in his chest, and too busy to notice how all of his breathes were cut short for some unknown reason while admiring the guy's soft features.

He was mesmerised, until the boy turned his face on the other side.

Now he could only see how the black curls gently laid on his nape and covered his head, brushing over the sides of his somehow angelic face.

Something was trying to pull him closer, his fingers to move the black locks away from his face, his eyes to get lost in the other's, his mouth to...

But he couldn't move. Not only because there was this feeling that stopped him even from breathing, but also because he just couldn't.

They weren't a thing, they weren't even in love. It's not like you would go kissing someone you are friends with and then act like nothing happened. And they weren't even that much close to eachother so that you could call him a real friend.

Sure, they had done some pretty intimate stuff together, but that didn't mean actually anything. It didn't have any meaning nor feelings between the reasons they had done that.

It had just been... the lust of the moment.

Yeah, it was just that.

He sat up, exhaling a long breath before shaking his head, trying to push away those thoughts that were just hurting his brain. He took his phone and checked the time: it was 5 pm. They had been sunbathing for more or less an hour.
