The sun sparked on the tall waves crushing down on the sand, while eight boys were chilling on their towels on the beach.

Changbin and Jeongin were snuggling together as the lovebirds they were, and Felix and Hyunjin were playing Clash royale on their phones.

Chan instead was teaching how to play guitar to Jisung and Seungmin, both boys excited to have another lesson. The brunette even brought his from home, while the eldest let the boy with pink bangs practice with his.

Meanwhile, Minho just sat on his towel, staring at his lover trying to press on the keys correctly for the instrument to emit the right sound.

Chan noticed his piercing gaze almost immediately, and suggested him smiling to join them, waving his hand towards him.

The male scooted himself closer, next to his lover, while he silently listened to what the raven instructed.

'This is the first chord, and if I play it like this,' he started, plucking the highest string, 'the note is C, then going up, there's G, and up here it's E. If we want to go even upper, there's B, F and C again. You got it?'

'Let's see...' the young brunette said while playing a chord at time, 'C, G, E, B, F and C... Okay, I think I got it'

'Yeah, I'm fine too here. It'll take some time to memorize them but I'll make it anyways' the boy with pink bangs explained.

'Yeah, so, you know how to read notes on the score?'

Everyone stayed silent.

Chan sighed, 'Well, that's okay. Even if we could use tabs it's better to learn all the notes'

He got a pentagram book out of the case of his guitar and started writing different symbols and in multiple positions, while he explained the duration of each and the name of the notes on the lines and in between them.

Felix noticed how close Chan and Seungmin had become in very short time: while the younger tried to avoid even meeting eyes with the raven, he suddenly started being so talkative and the biggest fan of skinship.

He looked over at Changbin and Jeongin, the two boys sleeping and hugging, while his own eyes burned with both saltiness and jealousy under the strong sunlight.

His gaze went back to the small group of people trying to apprehend the basics to play the guitar, and saw how Seungmin was laughing so much for something Chan had just said, as the black-haired's hands rested on the taller's, trying to explain how to hold the instrument properly, while the younger was almost sitting on his lap with a huge smile on his face.

Now, if he thought about his two best friends separately, he loved them both so much, they were his second family, his place to go when things were tough, the feeling of walking into a warm room after a day of cold, his home.

But whenever he saw them with their boyfriend, or fling, or whatever it was, he felt... weird.

He never thought about ever feeling jealous of his friends, and yet during those times when they were all together, he couldn't help but feel excluded.

He wanted what they had, either it was a stable relationship or something going on with someone, yet couldn't bring himself to do something about it.

His eyes landed on the angel that rested his eyes beside him, with his blonde locks shining under the sun, the long eyelashes fluttering, the perfect skin shimmering, the mole under one of his chocolate orbs making him look if possible even more beautiful, his big hands and long fingers supporting the weight of his head.

He looked like a prince.

The most beautiful prince of the world.

The younger exhaled a long breath, his eyes holding the love he had for the blonde in front of him, as he wrapped his arms around his own legs and rested his chin in between them.
