Cherry flavoured summer dream - a ChanMin fanfiction

'O-o-oh- hi' Chan replied, a bit startled by the sudden meeting.
He felt hotness spreading all over his cheeks, words stopping on his tongue to get swallowed with the saliva that was building up in his mouth until he gulped, his eyelids opening and closing frenetically as his eyes couldn't believe what they were seeing was real.

After building up some courage during the few moments of silence that was set between them he finally spoke.

'Y-you can g-get this, Imma get another one' he said, stuttering.

The other boy cleared his voice and finally spoke 'Don't worry about that, but still thank you' his low deep voice piercing Chan's ears. 'I- I didn't expect you to be the other new security member'

The tension that Chan was holding slowly started to disappear as he relaxed his arms and face, taking all the courage he had left in himself and replied to the boy in front of him.

'Well, I didn't expect you worked here either. I didn't see you anywhere the whole night tho'
'I was at the bar with Jeongin the whole time, how come... Oh, maybe when I went to the bathroom?'

'Probably? I don't know' the black-haired chuckled.

The tension between them quickly faded away as they continued their little chat while cleaning, as they talked about their work.

When everyone was done, they got out of the club and went on their ways home, except for Chan, Jisung, Seungmin, Changbin and Jeongin.

Changbin was the first one to speak.

'So guys, how was your first day?'
Jisung immediately answered 'Not so good, but it could've been worse'
'Why tho?' Chan asked, 'I don't think it was that bad, I actually found it easier than when I worked in Australia'

'Easier?! Bro, I literally had to stop about thirty couples from doing the nasty in this goddamn club, and they wouldn't listen to me!'
'First time, uh?' Chan and Changbin both said together, making everyone chuckle a bit, Jeongin holding his boyfriend's hand tighter and smiling.

'Yes, first time! I'm literally eighteen, I expected something like this but not this much!'

'You're eighteen? Me and Seungmin here have the same age as you. I bet we go to the same school and we didn't know. Do you attend JYP high school too?'
'Oh yes, I do. I don't know many people there, just some guys like Yeonjun, Beomgyu and Hyunjin. They're pretty fun tho, we share some classes that's why we know eachother'
'You're friends with Hyunjin?'
'Yeah, he's probably my best friend at the moment. Why?'

Seungmin finally decided to speak too, 'Oh nothing, we're just childhood friends, we just don't talk much with him because he hangs out with different people'
'Hi, a pleasure to meet you then, I'm part of different people' Jisung reached out his hand, faking a presentation.
'Nice to meet you too, part of other people' Jeongin joked taking his hand and shaking it, as everyone bursted out laughing.

'You're really funny, we should hang out more, maybe at school during lunch?'
'Yeah, bring your friends and Hyunjin too. We'll have lunch all together along with our other friend'
'Sounds nice, I'm in!'

Chan looked at his watch and read 4:15 on the display.

'Guys, I don't wanna interrupt this conversation but I should go, I'm kinda tired too honestly'
'We all should go back tho, it's really late' Changbin agreed.
'Yeah, so I guess we'll see eachother 'tomorrow' night?'
'Yep, see you!' Jeongin said waving goodbye as he and Changbin walked away, hands locked together. Jisung also said goodbye and went on his own way.

'Uhm... I wanted to tell you... You forgot your clothes at my place yesterday... You wanna pass by and get them or you prefer I bring them at work and give them to you?' Chan said, feeling a bit embarrassed, his left hand scratching his nape as his eyes found difficult to look at Seungmin into his face, blush spreading all over his cheeks and the points of his ears.
