Jennie entered the class and walked to her seat. She sat down and started doing some work. Three periods passed with teachers coming in, teaching their subjects, and giving homework. The last period was English, but the English teacher was absent, so it was a substitution. Jennie took out her favorite book, "Better Than the Movies," and started reading.
As she was engrossed in her book, she felt someone sit next to her. Jennie glanced to the side and saw Jungkook sitting there. "Hi," he said. Jennie sighed, waved at him, and picked up her book again. Before she could start reading, Taehyung and Jimin tapped her shoulder from the seat behind her. "What do you want?" Jennie asked, turning around to face them.
Taehyung was in the same class as Jimin and Jungkook because he had taken physical education as the fifth subject and the teacher told all the children of that subject that they were free so he came to his friends. Jin and Namjoon were practicing magic in a classroom and Hoseok was in the dance room.
Taehyung found himself in the same class as Jimin and Jungkook because he had chosen physical education as his fifth subject. When the teacher allowed the students of that subject to leave, he joined his friends. Jin and Namjoon were practicing magic in a classroom, and Hoseok was in the dance room.
Jennie turned around and asked, "What can I do for the three of you?" Jungkook took Jennie's book and hid it behind his back. She tried to take the book back, but Jimin stopped her and said, "We're sorry. We know it was Jin's fault. He shouldn't have done that." Jennie looked at Jimin and said, "I know he won't come and say sorry. Thanks for apologizing on his behalf, but I'm not going to forgive Jin." Taehyung interrupted, "But why not?" "I won't forgive him because a person forgives someone when they ask for forgiveness. Jin never asked for it. He's not even ready to admit his mistake. You guys are very nice for coming here and apologizing, but I can't. Jisoo unnie is very important to me, and someone who hurts her is like my enemy. She means everything to me," Jennie replied.
Upon hearing Jennie's words, the three boys were taken aback, especially Jungkook, for whom his hyungs meant the world. Jimin flashed a gentle smile and said, "Well, there's no way to convince you otherwise, so I won't even try. Jennie-ah, if I say that we want to be your friends, would you mind?" Jennie eyed Jimin skeptically. "Why would you want to be my friend?" "You're different," Taehyung replied. "We've never seen anyone, let alone a girl, talk to Jin hyung the way you did. It takes guts to speak to him like that. He's created this aura around him." "There's always a first time for everything, guys. Anyway, I'll be your friend, but not Jin's. I still can't tolerate him," Jennie said, rolling her eyes. The three boys burst into laughter at her dramatic eye roll. "It's okay, Jennie," Jungkook said reassuringly. "One day you'll get to know Jin hyung better, and you might even start to like him." "If you say so, Jungkook-ssi. Now, can I have my book back?" Jennie asked.
"Nope," Jungkook responded with a teasing grin.
"I'm sorry, what did you say?"
"I said you won't get the book back."
Jennie sighed, "Give me the book back, or I'll find a way to take it."
"You can try, Jennie Kim," Jungkook challenged.
"Oh, just you wait, Mr. Jeon Jungkook," Jennie retorted with a playful glint in her eye.
The bell rang, signaling the end of the school day. Jimin and Taehyung headed off to gather their belongings. Taehyung waved goodbye to Jennie and made his way to his classroom. Jimin, with a mischievous wink at Jungkook, picked up his bag and headed to the dance room to meet Hoseok for dance practice.
