After dealing with the demons, Jennie walked over to the counter where Rosé stood with her eyes closed, muttering, "Thank God." Jennie leaned against the counter and asked, "What happened?"
Rosé opened her eyes and looked at Jennie, saying, "Nothing, just thanking God for sending you to Earth. Now that you've dealt with those demons in your queen of the angels mode, can we go? My shift is over." "Yes, Jisoo unnie must have reached home by now. Let's go," Jennie replied, turning around. The two of them headed towards the exit, ready to leave the eventful day behind.
As Jennie turned around, she collided with something solid—Jin's chest. The glass of water in Jin's hand fell to the floor with a crash.
"Yah, watch where—" Jin started, but stopped short when he saw Jennie. He stepped back, picked up the glass, and said, "Sorry, it was my fault." He directed the apology to both Jennie and Rosé. "Oh my God, you know how to say sorry?" Rosé asked, her tone incredulous. Jin was about to respond, but Jennie interrupted him. "Rosé, go pack your things. Let's go home. And you, Mr. Kim Seokjin, I hope for only two things for you. One, your phone breaks, and two, you finally realize why it was your fault in the canteen this morning. Now, bye." She waved dismissively.
Jennie told Rosé to wait for her as she had to meet the chef, who was her friend. Jin returned to his table and told the boys to get ready to go home. They resumed finishing their food while chatting, but Jimin had something else on his mind.
As Rosé stood by the gate, greeting the person who was taking over her shift, Jimin approached her. "Hi again," Jimin said, trying to appear casual.
She sighed, joining her hands in a pleading gesture. "Oh my god, not again. Look, I am so sorry, but please don't irritate me right now." Jimin chuckled softly. "Trust me, I'm not here to irritate you. I just want to ask you something. If that's okay with you." Rosé dropped her hands and replied, "Okay, ask."
Jimin cleared his throat, taking a step closer to her. "What would you say if I told you that I love your smile?" "I'd say I like my smile too. What's the big deal?" Rosé responded nonchalantly. He leaned in a bit more, his eyes locking onto hers. "And what would you say if I told you that I want to take you out on a date?" Rosé smirked and replied, "I would think about it and... say no." With that, she gently pushed Jimin away and dashed towards the kitchen, calling out to remind Jennie that it was late and they needed to head home.
Jimin rested his head against the wall, sighing dreamily. "How can someone be so beautiful even while rejecting me? Uff 🥰😏." He shook himself out of his reverie and walked back towards his friends. "If everyone's done eating, let's go home. It's late. I'll call the driver. Jin hyung, call your driver too. You and Tae need to go home in your own car."
While Jimin called the driver, he noticed Jin seemed lost and hadn't called his driver. He tapped Namjoon's shoulder and signaled towards Jin. Namjoon understood and told Taehyung to call the driver instead. Namjoon then shook Jin's arm gently. "Hyung, what happened to you?"Jin shook his head, looking regretful. "It was my fault. I should've said sorry to Jisoo right away. I shouldn't have called her those awful names. She's neither a slut nor cheap. God, it was all my fault. Namjoon-ah, Jisoo will never forgive me."
Namjoon patted Jin's back reassuringly. "I knew you would realize your mistake eventually. Your apology will mean something now, and trust me, Jisoo is a very nice girl. She will forgive you. Tomorrow, apologize to her at school. Alright, now let's go." "Okay, let's go," Jin agreed. He stood up, and all the boys gathered their things and headed home.
Meanwhile, Jennie and Rosé went back home with some free food from the chef, feeling relieved the ordeal was over.
