It was nearly 10 pm when the door of their room opened, revealing Chrollo with a map in his hands. Kurapika hadn't quite been able to sit still while waiting for the other. Unexpectedly, day three hadn't ended in a total disaster like the blonde feared it would and the black-haired had not in the slightest blamed the Kurta for keeping the dowsing chain a secret. He just felt weird. The air was awkward around them, at least for Kurapika who now has had two mental breakdowns in front of his enemy within the period of three days.

By the time Chrollo made it back to their chamber, Kurapika had already changed into black pants and a white shirt. If they managed to track down Hisoka tonight, fighting in a dress (an expensive one at that) would be rather inconvenient. Kurapika also didn't have to keep up the act of being Yeah Luksan when they were strolling around the ship in the middle of the night so he did bring a pair of "normal" clothes with him alongside his pajamas. With Chrollo having been gone for quite a while, the blonde had been able to calm down fully. With "Fully" meaning he was feeling the usual unease, the one that would never leave him no matter where the bodyguard found himself to be. His older counterpart closed the door behind him and entered the room in an also calm demeanor. He placed the map on their wooden table in front of the couch he had been sleeping on for the entirety of their stay. The black haired looked down at Kurapika who was sitting in front of that wooden table.

"Fortunately, Jades handed me this map without asking any questions."

He said.

Kurapika raised an eyebrow.

"You wouldn't have had an excuse if he did?"

Chrollo chuckled as he made his way toward the couch as well. The spider made sure to keep his safe distance from the other.

"Do you think so little of me?"

"Considering you thought I'd actually sleep with Rome, yes."

Touché.

Kurapika could feel Chrollos dark eyes on him but didn't return the eye contact. The Kurta was very much focused on eyeing the map that was presented in front of him. Chrollos entire focus however seemed to have shifted to the younger man next to him.

"Are you still mad about me having interfered yesterday?"

Oh, Kurapika was mad about many things. Starting with the murder of his entire clan. But he wouldn't fall into a rage again. The first shock of having to work with the other, having to engage in skinship with the other slowly subsided. The black-haired's uncalled-for attempts of cheering him up earlier were futile but Kurapika still acknowledged the somewhat effort the other had put in. When he didn't reply after several seconds, Chrollo dropped the topic and averted his eyes to the map.

Kurapika didn't mean to come off as overly provocative but most of the time couldn't help it when it came to the phantom thief.

With one swift motion, the Kurta stood up and conjured his chains. The little ball of dowsing chain tangled from the chain on his ring finger as he raised the delicate hand to hover it over the map. Chrollo next to him watched with great curiosity as to how this chain of Kurapika's worked. He probably knew that if he asked, he wouldn't receive an answer. So he didn't.

Kurapika concentrated his Nen on the ball in front of him as he waited for it to show Hisokas whereabouts. He focused on what Hisoka's aura felt like as he could still remember the bloodlust and hostility it radiated. Hisoka had been someone completely unpredictable from the very beginning, always ready to switch sides and attack with no other motivation than sheer enjoyment. An opponent of his kind was rare, in fact, Kurapika had never met someone with quite the motive to kill but the magician himself.
