- The Flower Shop
¹¹:³⁰ ᵃᵐ, ˢᵃᵗᵘʳᵈᵃʸ

I had to get out of the house and clear my head.  I decided to head back to the flower shop to see if they still had carnations, intending to actually buy some this time. Feeling so stressed, I pulled out a cig. I don't smoke that often, only when I really need it, like right now for example. I only had one cig left, I'll have to get more later. 

As I approach the shop, I noticed that my favorite flowers were still there. I decided to look around before picking those ones up. The shop also had very pretty tulips that I couldn't help but admire. 

- Eli's POV 

It's just a normal day today. Anna didn't respond back to my message this morning, I have a feeling she read it though. Ryan and I are out just walking around town when we stumble across a flower shop. I may or may not have recommended Anna's neighborhood in hopes that I'd run across her. 

"What kind of flowers do you think Anna likes?" I say while smelling the roses, "I don't know, why don't you ask her?" I look up confusingly at Ryan. He points in the direction of a girl next to some tulips. I then realize that it's Anna! 

I hesitantly go up to her, "Tulips?" I stand right behind her, "Huh? Oh, Eli! What are you doing here?" She has this smile on her face, she could light up New York City without even trying. 

"I was just in the area...with Ryan of course," I say pointing to Ryan who's hiding behind some roses, watching the whole interaction. He waves awkwardly. 

"...I didn't know you smoked." I mentally facepalm myself. "Umm..yea! Only when I need to take the edge off.." She says as she blows the smoke out. Damn, I can feel myself falling to her knees, I've never seen anybody look so sexy in a flower shop. 

"Eli! You okay?" Anna waves her hand in front of my face and I realize that I had zoned out "Yea sorry, um, you got another one of those?" I motion to the cig. "Oh sorry I only got one left, here." she passes the cig to me and I take a hit. 

"So I never actually asked what you do for a living? Like I know you have a job but what do you do exactly?" I say taking another hit then passing the cig back to her, "I'm...a therapist...somewhat" She says flailing her arms around.

"What?!" I say with a laugh. 

"I don't exactly have any clients just yet! In my defense, I just started the job yesterday!" She says with her bright smile. 

"Hey, I know this is out of the blue but would you want to come over? Beth would be excited to officially meet you!" I raise my eyebrow suspiciously, causing her to break out into the most adorable laugh. "What do you mean?" suspicion evident in my voice. 

"Beth saw you walk me home last night. She'd be thrilled to meet you!" I look over to Ryan only to find him gone from the flower shop. When did he leave? Huh. "I'd love to." 

- Beth's Apartment, Anna's POV

"Okay, how about we play 21 questions?" I hand Eli a cup of tea and sit next to him "Okay, but I get to go first."
