- Beth's Apartment

Wedding bells start playing as I walk down the aisle. I look down and see I'm wearing a white gown and I'm holding a bouquet of flowers. Am I really getting married? I look up and see my groom looking at me. His dark shades covering his eyes. 

I finally stop in front of the priest but when I look up I notice my groom changed into Eli. What? "Dearly Beloved, we are joined here today to celebrate..." The priest starts. As I look around the crowd, I notice a figure now standing in the distance. It's Bobby! When did he move over there? 

"Do you Anna Williams take this man..." I feel the dark-haired boy in front of me grab my hands. Maybe this is the way it's supposed to be. Me and Eli. I smile and turn to look at the dark-haired boy only to see Robert now standing in front of me. "I- I do..." What is going on? 

As I look in the audience I notice no figure standing in the distance. I see Beth, Ryan, and Josh but no Eli. As I turn back to my groom, he changes again. Back into Eli. What is happening? 

"You may now kiss your bride." The priest says to Eli. As he pulls me in for a passionate kiss I can't help but think that this feels right. I open my eyes only to see that I'm kissing Rob instead. Huh?

"Anna" Rob says looking deep into my eyes. Yes, I want to say but the words don't come out. In the blink of an eye, Robert changes into Eli. "Anna, Wake up..." 

I sit up suddenly, wiping the sweat from my forehead. Why do my dreams have to be even more confusing than my real life? I lay back down and cover my head with a pillow. Wanting to hide away from the stressful reality I'm living in. 

Yesterday, after Eli confessed those feelings to me, I didn't know what to say so I just kissed him. We went our separate ways and haven't spoken since. After about 3 hours of Gossip Girl, me and Rob decided we'd need to make more time to watch it together. 

We plan to meet up at his place around 6 so I've got approximately 11 more hours to kill. On queue, I hear my phone buzz.

I quickly get out of bed to brush my teeth. I don't know why I feel so nervous about going to meet some of Eli's friends. Sure I've met the band but this feels different. I have no idea what to expect or what to even wear. 

I brush my hair before calling Beth into my room. "Yes?" She says, standing in my doorway with hands on her hips. "Eli invited me to meet some of his other friends today. I have no idea what to wear!" 

"Why don't you wear your mid-length jean skirt? It's cute, it's modest." Beth goes into my closet and grabs it out. Perfect! "Beth I don't know where I'd be without you!" I say hugging her. 

I put on the skirt and a cute detailed white tank top.  I style my hair half-up half-down and do my makeup when I hear a knock on the door. 

"Hey!" I say answering the door. Eli gives me a cute smile and I give him one back. "Hey! You look cute today!" He snakes his hands around my waist, giving me a kiss on the lips. 

"I'm kind of nervous." 

"What! Why?" his expression turned to concerned. "Because! I just don't know what to expect!" I rest my arms around his shoulders. To an outsider it may look like we're boyfriend girlfriend, we aren't though. 

"Don't worry, the guys will love you!" He gives me another kiss, this time on my forehead, before grabbing my hand and heading out. 

We walk to his friend's house, hand in hand, swinging lightly between us. Maybe my dream was trying to tell me something. Everything just feels so right with Eli. The way our hands fit perfectly like puzzle pieces. The way it feels like fireworks every time we kiss. 

"What are you thinkin' about in that pretty head of yours?" Eli says with a smirk on his face. "Nothing..." I say feeling too embarrassed to admit what I was thinking about. Our hands continue to sway as we walk, Eli gives me a look like he knows that I'm hiding something.

"...how we're actually pretty great together..." I say shyly. Eli's smirk turns into a smile as he looks at me. I can feel his eyes burning into the side of my face. I continue to look at the ground as we walk. "Really?!" I just nod but I can see Eli's smile grow wider as he looks at me. 

"I think we're pretty great together too." He brings our hands up and gives mine a kiss. Before I know it, we near another apartment building, not too far from Beth's. Eli drags me inside the building and we walk up three flights of stairs until we're stopped at an apartment with a bright red door. 

The door suddenly opens and the first thing that hits me is the strong scent of weed. The dude standing in front of us looks only an inch or two taller than Eli. His brown shaggy hair makes him look like the dude from Clueless. 

"Eli!! Whatsupp! You made it!" The guy gives Eli a bro hug before turning his attention to me, "And who's this?" he says obviously talking about me. 

I grab Eli's hand, signaling him to introduce us. "Oh, this is Anna!" He says pointing to me. "Anna this is Connor, one of my mates from grade school." 

"Nice to meet you!" He holds his hand out and I hesitantly shake it. I feel like a shy little kid right now. "So...Are you guys dating?" He says pointing down to me and Eli's hands, still molded together. 

"Um...we're..." Eli starts, obviously still confused about what to label us, "Yes." is all I say, shocking Eli as I see him go wide-eyed. "Yes," Eli repeats after me. 

"Well, Come on in!" Connor says making room for us to enter. On the couch I see two other dudes, both playing what looks to be a WWE video game and passing a blunt back and forth. 

"Guys, Eli's here with a guest." Both boys pause their game and look up. "What's up! I'm Liam!" The first boy stands up and tries to dap me up, I simply hide behind Eli's arm. "Anna" is all I say in the nicest tone possible. "And I'm Rory!" The other boy says. 

"Like the Glee character..." I accidentally slip out. All four boys look at me confused until Rory laughs. "Yeaa! Eli, I like this girl!" He says going to bro hug Eli.
