Phil knocks at the door as you are bent over the sink, filling up a water bottle. Smiling, you put it and an empty, plastic bowl into your green canvas backpack on the counter. When you open the door, you find your adorable boyfriend beaming with the excitement of a five-year-old.
“(Y/N), are you ready?!” He asks excitedly, grabbing your hands and twirling you around with him. You can’t help but smile even more. You didn’t even think anyone was going to be more excited about this than you, but here was Phil, proving you wrong.
“Yes, Phil,” you giggle and you move your hands from his grip and slide them up his arms to get around his shoulders in a hug. He looks into your eyes and smiles lovingly and you feel his familiar touch around your waist.
“We’re going to be the best parents!” He says in his cute British accent. You just smile to yourself and lower your head to rest on his chest. You give him a squeeze in response. You could stay like this forever; you could never need to go anywhere else from his arms.
“Come on, love, he says breaking away and grabbing your backpack from the open kitchen. You see him peer in and make sure everything you need is there. He puts it over his left shoulder and grabs your hand. You have to stop him when you get outside your flat to lock it up.
“Alright,” you say and the two of you walk down the hall to the lift with your fingers intertwined.
In ten minutes you and Phil are laughing and running down a pavement by a few shops. You almost run into your boyfriend as he suddenly stops in front of a store.
“Here it is!” He says excitedly. He almost squishes his face into the glass to look in the window.
“It’s open, silly! Let’s just go in.” You say, tugging on his elbow. The face he gives you when he turns from the window is one of bubbling excitement. You know yours is a mirror of the same expression. Gleefully you two enter and the bell above the door signals a cute, older lady to welcome the hand-holding couple to her store. Almost immediately, Phil breaks loose and runs over to the rabbits.
“Awwwhhh, bunnies!” He says with his face bent so low that it’s only a few inches above the protective plastic of the enclosure.
“I should have known this would be your first stop!” You say, laughing. “And the hamsters next,” you continue more to yourself than Phil because he has already turned his attention towards the little fuzz balls. You follow him and come to his right side, letting your left arm trail over his bent back.
“You see that one?” he asks, turning to me slightly but still keeping his finger pointed to a light brown hamster in the center of the space.
“Mhmm,” you reply.
“I’d name that one Gertrude.”
“Any reason, dear?” you ask, just waiting for a Phil-response.
“It’s just the first thing that came into my head, but I think she suits it. Wait! Maybe that blonde one would be a better Gerttie!”
“You are adorable,” you said slowly to emphasize each word. you take hold of his wrist and led him over to the corner wall of kitties in cages. “This is why we’re here,”youI remind him playfully. He turns and smiles at you.
“Right, let’s pick out a kitty!”
You two started looking at the cats, sometimes dragging your fingers along the glass for feisty ones to play with. Phil had worked his way a few rows over the left.
“(Y/N)!” He exclaimed, “Look at this one! It looks like a lion!” And there was a fluffy, orange kitten lying on its back with its paws kicking around in the air. You watch as it lept back to its feet and capered around its space, pawing at anything interesting.
“Awh, it’s soooo cute!” you say. Phil nods eagerly and asks an attendant if he can hold it. As soon as you see the little baby in your boyfriend’s arms, you know he is smitten and you know you have to get it.
“Is it a boy or a girl?” you ask, reaching over to pet its soft, plushy head.
“He’s a boy,” the lady responds and moves a few steps away to give you some privacy.
“We can’t name him Lion,” Phil says. “We’ve already got one of those.” you smirk at him talking about his stuffed lion.
“Winston,” you both say. You look at each other in amusement. Then a little orange paw batts Phil on the chest. He looks down at the thing, tiny in his long arms, and confirms the name softly.
“Winston.”
“Perfect,”you say. “Welcome to the family, little guy.”
Phil and you walk out of the pet store with your new and best purchase yet. Winston loved you guys and Phil and you both loved taking him to your houses on your turns with your baby. The cat became a reoccurring character in AmazingPhil videos, even making guest appearances often in Danisnotonfire videos. The internet loved the orange fur ball, but you think it’s safe to say that no one loved him more than Phil and you did. After all, Winston was your first baby.
Comments? What do you think? This is my first imagine. Should I do more?
To help me produce these, please give me prompts/suggestions and I will write one and dedicate it to you!
[Danisnotonfire ones could happen too, but probably only on request because Phil is my boo. :]
