Annaka rubs her eyes, trying to shake off the last remnants of sleep as she stumbles down the stairs.
Haisley is already awake and cooking pancakes in the kitchen.
ANNAKA How are you up early?
HAISLEY (flipping pancakes) Didn't sleep.
ANNAKA (walking to the counter) What? Why?
HAISLEY Mia kept me up all night! Oh, she's just wrecked with... she was crying all night! I was worried she was gonna pass out from dehydration. Hold up, how are you awake so early?
ANNAKA I only slept for a couple of hours, Ella had the same problem. I got her to sleep in the end but she was so scared the entire night. I didn't know what to do.
They both sigh, sharing a moment of understanding and empathy.
Annaka then walks over to help Haisley set the table and brew some espresso.
HAISLEY Well, at least they're asleep now. This has been a day...
ANNAKA I know, we have to go back to set in 3 days. I hope we can resolve everything by then. By the way, when are you meeting with Jo?
HAISLEY This afternoon for lunch. Hopefully, we'll get answers then.
The smell of freshly brewed coffee fills the air, waking them both up.
They finish setting the table and pour themselves some coffee, sitting down to enjoy the morning together.
HAISLEY When do you think we should call Sophia and Catherine?
ANNAKA Let the twins wake up first, and see if they talk. If not, we can phone up Soph and Cat. But tell them to keep it discreet, we don't need everyone worrying about this. It's already been a mess enough.
Suddenly, they heard screaming.
ELLA (O.S.) Annaka?! Haisley?! Annaka where are you?!!
ANNAKA Oh, shoot.
Annaka dashes up the staircase.
HAISLEY Go get your kid!
ANNAKA Shut up!
