Time to Make a Deal and Make a Choice

Third Person POV:

While Brandi was taken by Hades and his troupe, Phil and Pegasus were watching Hercules train. They both couldn't help but think that something more was going on between the two childhood friends. "Hopefully nothing bad happens to either of them... They both deserve to be happy." Phil said as he crossed his arms, getting a nod from Pegasus. Soon the duo look over as Hercules runs over to them. "Phil! Have you seen Brandi? I gotta tell her something." Herc said as the satyr looks at him sadly. "Kid, I don't know where she is, but... There's something you need to know." Phil said as he goes after his protege, neither of them noticing that Pegasus was being led into a stable by what the steed thought was a female. But it turned out to be Pain and Panic in disguise as they jump on him and tie him up. "Gotcha!" Pain yelled as they do so, as it was all part of the plan Hades had.

"Herc, you need to listen to me. Brandi is--" Phil tries to talk but gets interrupted by Herc. "The greatest thing to have ever happened to me. If it wasn't for you and this mission, I wouldn't have realized my feelings for her. Oh, I owe ya big time! I really do!" The hero said as he hugs Phil, smiling widely. The satyr huffs as he was getting more and more agitated, trying to get Herc's attention. "Will ya knock it off for a couple of seconds? I'm trying to tell ya something here!" He said as he was once again ignored as Hercules pipes up, saying, "Rule #38, come on, Phil. Keep 'em up there, huh? Phil, I got two words for ya: duck!" As he punches playfully while the satyr ducks the blow. Phil shakes his head as he looks at him, really pissed off at how Hercules was acting. "Listen to me! She's--" he said as Herc pipes in, "A dream come true?" Phil soon saying, "Not exactly." While Herc asks, "More beautiful than Aphrodite?"

Phil shakes his head again as he tries to get the hero's attention. "Aside from that!" He yells as Herc soon starts to say, "The most wonderful--" The satyr, finally having had enough, soon grabs Her by the wrists as he yells, "She's not from here! She is from another time and as much as she wants to be with you, she can't! She doesn't belong here!" As Hercules looked at him with a sad look, soon awkwardly laughing. "Aw, come on-- stop kiddin' around." He said as he looks at him, seeing the satyr looks at him with a soft frown, heading him say, "I'm not kiddin' around." Hercules soon starts feeling more down, shaking his head as he looks away. "I know you're upset about today, but that's no reason to--" Just as the satyr soon yells at him, "Kid, you're missin' the point!" Herc looks at Phil, frowning as he jabs a finger into Phil's chest. "The point is-- I love her." He said as Phil said to him sadly, "She can't love you, Herc..."

"You're crazy." Hercules said as he started to get angry, waving a hand. Phil looks at him as he tries to lay it out for him, "Brandi can't love you even if she wanted to, kid--" The satyr starts to say while Herc yells, "Stop it!" While Phil continues on, "No matter what you may feel, she'll have to go back to her own time and you can't do anything about it." As the satyr finished that sentence, Hercules finally lashes out at him, screaming, "Shut up!" As he hits Phil, sending him flying through the air and land in some of the equipment. Hercules soon finally realized what he just done, try to help Phil up. "Phil, I-- oh, I'm-- I'm sorry..!" He said as he looked at him. The satyr got up slowly as he brushed himself off from the pile of metal. "Okay, okay, that's it. You won't face the truth? Fine." Phil said as he shakes his head, turning to walk away. Hercules looks at him as he frowns sadly. "Phil, wait. Where are you going?" He asked sorrowfully.

Phil frowns as he walks away, saying, "I'm hoppin' the first barge outta here. I'm goin' home." Hercules shakes his head, frowning slightly. "Fine! G--go! I don't -- I don't need you." He said as he grabs one of the weight bars and starts to work out with it. Phil looks back at him from the entryway, saying softly, "I thought you were gonna be the all-time champ. Not the all-time chump..." The satyr shakes his head as he walks away, thinking about how Brandi is going to react to all this. "I'm sorry, kiddo... I had to tell him..." He said softly as he walked. Hercules looks over at Phil as the satyr leaves, a sad look on his face as he soon focused on his workout.
