Wilbur put his ear buds in and started walking. He didn't think of going anywhere in particular, but he need to process a few things. To be honest although he was mad he was mainly worried about Tallulah. Her hearing is extremely sensitive, same with her emotions. She is alike with Wilbur in many ways. She dose sometimes have outbursts of anger but it usually ends in sadness as she feels horrible about feeling angry at those she loves.
Wilbur had the same horrible feeling fallowing him around. He just needed to cool off. Everyone probably hates him, except Tallulah. He couldn't decide what was worse him being hated or the fact that he knew Tallulah would forgive him for anything. He was so deep in thought that he couldn't hear the pair of wings flapping behind him. It was when something zoomed passed his face that he clicked back into reality.
Wilbur saw the arrow and quickly turned around to see a figure in front of him. He took a quick second to observe the figure. He was small but no doubt a villain. He had half his face covered with a mask that looks like a phantom of the opera mask. He had small gold wings that were probably only big enough to support him and nothing more. But what scares Wilbur is that He had an array of weapons on his belt. He also noticed he was a shriek avian. Well fuck, one of the most aggressive bird avians is only a few feet away.
After the second Wilbur took taking in the features of the short guy he bolted down the street. He had multiple more arrow shot pass him and he kept running. He was turning a corner when he heard yet another arrow behind him. However it did not wiz pass his head. Instead the arrow was not logged into his shoulder blade. He felt a wave of sleepiness go through his body. He had to keep going. He kept running and he eventually found an alleyway where he hid behind a few boxes. His head was light. He needed to call Tallulah. He needed to tell her how much he loved her. If those were his last words to his family he would be happy. He didn't want her last memory of him to be bad.
'Ring' 'Ring' Ring'
"Fuck, Tallulah you need to pick up!" He whispered into his phone. He at least can leave a message that she can listen to when she got back to her phone.
"Tallulah sweetie, papa is not coming home tonight. I will see you soon. Don't tell abuelito Phil about me leaving. He will know soon enough. I love you very much, you are a very special girl" he then pressed the button to end the recording. He could no longer move. He assumed some sort of chemical was put in with the arrow. But he was safe. He may have spoke to soon.
"Aww that's sweet who did you send that message too?" Ace said perched on one of the boxes staring down like a hunter at its prey. And Wilbur was the prey.
'Oh fuck' was all Wilbur could think looking at the villain standing over him.
"None of your business" wil replied as coldly as he could.
"You don't seem to know who. I. Am." The shorter said. "You may know me by the name Ace, or one of the top five villains" Wilbur's blood ran cold. He was surely dead meat. "I'm going to ask again who did you send that to"
"I'm not going to tell you." honestly, thinking about it, it was extremely stupid to not answer Aces question, but he couldn't put his niña in harms way. He would kill himself if something happened to her. (Maybe now he realized Phil's protective side, and to be honest Phil's was probably worse because of his 'bird instincts')
"Ok then have it your way, all I need is a hostage tonight. Speaking of, what is a hot guy like yourself doing out here tonight? Don't you know it's dangerous to be outside at night."
"Fuck Off"
"Oh, well that wasn't the answer I was looking for." Ace then grabbed his head and hit it on the concrete wall behind him. Wilbur gave out a scream "Goodnight Wilbur"
Wilbur was stunned for a second before entirely blacking out, 'how the fuck does he know my name' was his last thought.
Ace sat there for a seconds making sure he was really out so he could take the tall man to where he needed to be. He needed a hostage so that when he tried to steal the three foot gold chains he can use the hostages life to stop the hero from attacking him. He doesn't know too much about hero's but he knows that more then half of the time they choose to save the hostage. And at this time of night there was not as many heros out and about. He took a look at the unconscious man to his side, and wondered why he didn't use any hybrid abilities the whole fight. It was confusing to quackity.
He wanted to look to see if he is hiding any hybrid traits such as wings or ears. It could be likely due to the fact the he has only seen Wilbur warring a beanie. He then came across the thought that maybe he was a rare hybrid that could benefit him if he finds a way to manipulate his power. No! You need to stay on track. Ace then left to the location he was putting the hostages. He set up all the needed tnt. And added a few cuts to make it look like he has been tortured. He felt a tiny bit bad about the blood coming out from his head when he punched it against his wall so he made sure to clean it up a bit. He looked cute sitting there unconscious. His instincts yelled at him the whole interaction, stuff like 'hunt 'game 'prey' mine' but he had no time for that. Now the show can start.
(Short chapter but it is violent! I enjoy violence!)
