After Sara read the letter Itto wrote, she decided she wanted to meet Shinobu and him. (Pardon my grammar) She walked through the palace corridors all the way to her father's office. She knocked on the door calmly
"Yes? Is it Masahito or Kamaji?"
"No, tis your daughter."
"Come in, I suppose"
"Thank you, father.", Sara opened the door to her father's office and took a seat in front of him, "I received a letter" the princess's face turned a bit glum, while her father looked at her, "From who?" He raised an eyebrow. Of course her highness knew that if she told her father, she would probably be locked in her room for a while, only receiving food and drink. "One of the peasants..." She swallowed, Sara was afraid on what her father might say, "Oh, what a pity, out of all my children the creature had to choose the useless one. Say what you want, I'm listening." Her father, King Kujou Takayuki answered, it wasn't the best answer she was hoping for but at least it was better than being locked in her room.
"I want to host a ball, for the kingdom, including the peasants, they deserve living with a bit of hope too...." Sara looked down and hoped for the best, what would be his response no one knew, but everyone was scared, "A ball for the pitiful peasants hosted by a pitiful princess, quite amusing." Takayuki chuckled to himself. "Of course, you may. I would like me and your brothers to attend, we have to find you a prince to marry, your at that age." Takayuki gave a small hand signal that requested Sara to leave the room, as she took her leave her face filled with joy and happiness.
"The food here is really good wouldn't you think so Shinobu?" Itto playfully hit Shinobu, "Hey! Just because we're friends doesn't been you can do that!" Shinobu looked at him annoyed, "I suppose I could forgive you though..." Shinobu looked down, you could tell she was obviously blushing, "Hm?" She looked up to see Heizou and some other servants and guards saying something,
"Ball hosted by her highness! Make sure to be there royalty and commoners invited!"
That's what they all were saying, "Make sure to be th- oh greetings Shinobu, greetings Arataki." He bowed down, "I have a feeling I disobeyed one of his Majesty's rules, promise not to turn me in?" Heizou stopped at them, "What's with the shouting? The princess is hosting a ball for royalty and commoners? You mean peasants?" Shinobu questioned Sara's right hand man, with an oddly sour tone, "Eh, I choose to say "commoners" it sounds more polite than "Peasants", despite that, you are correct. Her highness is hosting a ball, mainly because she wants to meet you two." Heizou smiled and Itto and Shinobu calmly.
"Really?! This sounds so, exhilarating!"
"What?! Us two?! Itto what did you do?!"
"Ah, my dear Shinobu", Heizou gently grabbed her hand with both of his hands, "You didn't hear I'm afraid, your comrade wrote a letter to her highness the other day, quite adorable, her highness cracked a smile when she read it." Shinobu took her hands back, with a disgusted expression on her face. "Ugh! Why did you have to do that Itto?!" Shinobu facepalmed then walked to her parents' house.
If only you knew my true and hidden feelings towards you......
