Rob's POV

Boom! Another crash of thunder made me flinch and hug Mitch even tighter. "Sh, Rob, it's okay, you're safe, nothing bad is gonna happen." Mitch promised. Another flash of lightning illuminated the room followed by another boom of thunder. I'm scared of the dark, thunder, lightning, spiders, and heights, no wonder Matt and Lachlan call me a scaredy cat. I think my fears are nyrophobia, astraphobia, arachnophobia, and acrophobia, at least that's what I was told. There was a flash and a boom, but this time, it was followed by a loud crash. All of the lights went out and I started crying even more. I hate the dark, and Mitch knows that very well, I guess that's why he was hugging me even tighter. "Sh, it's okay Rob, look, I'm gonna go check the fuse box, I'll be right back." He said, and tried to get up, but I wouldn't let him leave. "Do you wanna come too?" He asked, and I nodded. Mitch picked me up how Preston would and carried me towards the basement. Wait, basement?! No one said anything about the basement, I hate it down here! I started crying into Mitch's shoulder. He opened a metal box that was attached to the wall. "Hm, looks like the storm actually knocked out the power, Robbie." Mitch said, to which I cried even more. "Jeez, Rob, calm down." He said, and I started to calm down a tiny bit. Mitch carried me back up stairs. He went into the bathroom and started digging through the cabinets, and finally pulled out a 6-pack of candles. He carried me back to his room, found some matches, and lit the candle. "There we go, now it's not so scary, huh, Rob?" Mitch asked, and I smiled and nodded. I curled up into a little ball on Mitch's bed, and finally fell asleep.
