I'd pick your rain over anyone else's sunshine
——————"Bye guys" I say to a couple of my friends. It was the end of the day and Elva was waiting for me outside my class. She links arms with me as we head for the door. Our conversation was interrupted by some guy pulled up in front of the steps of our school. His helmet was on with the visor down. He leaned back in his motorcycle watching everyone come in and out of the school. His sleeves were rolled up to his elbows. He wore a white button down and a loosened black tie.
Dorian and Nick show up behind us watching the same guy. "He's been here for who knows how long, just waiting" Nick says skeptically. As we walk closer he waves at us. I look behind me to see who he was waving at. He laughs and puts up his visor. I recognized those beautiful blue yes anywhere. I let go of Elva's arm and walk over, tucking my hair behind my ear. "Hey Ace" I chuckle, "nice ride." Oliver takes off his helmet, revealing his messy hair. He leans down and kisses my head. "Hey sweetheart." I felt my cheeks flush red as he holds my arm. "What's that for" I whisper. "Everyone's watching, especially that boyfriend of yours."
I look around and see everyone whispering and pointing at us. I always forgot he was a "famous" smart, rich boy. I look over at Dorian and his knuckles were white. I didn't get why he would get so angry so easily. Eventually he calmed down once his new "girl friend" came over.
Oliver hands me a spare helmet and I hop onto the back of the bike, holding tightly to his torso. Once he speeds off I rest my head on his back. I could hear his heart beat and the rise in his chest when he breathed.
When we get to a light he turns his head slightly to talk to me. "You have anything you need to get too?" I could faintly see his eyes through the tint. "Mm no I don't think so, not for the next couple hours or so." He nods his head and drives off.

We arrive at some lookout area of the city. We both sit on the grass and stare out at the view. He turns to me and kisses my cheek. I giggle, "what are you doing." My face scrunches up as he continues kissing me. "You just look so hot today" he mutters in my skin. He starts kissing my neckline, moving his body in front of mine. I turn my face and hold my hand out to his chest to stop him. "Oliver what are you doing" I say calmly. "I think you know what I'm doing" he tries leaning toward me again. "I do but why? Don't you think you're moving to fast?" He sighs and leans back.
"Lena, sweetheart. I don't think you know me well enough. But I don't date people" he says leaning back on his hands. I bite my lip softly, "I know." He shakes his head, "see I escort people. Dating just isn't my thing." I nod my head as he continues. "Like we can see other people. But you and me, we just look so good together that it's a more beneficiary thing." He takes a deep breath, "Its like a fake relationship. It makes us both look good but we aren't actually committed." I run my hand through my hair, "I know. I don't expect a relationship either." He smiles, "I'm glad you understand me. I just wanted you to know what you're getting into." I smile and kiss him. "I know."
He holds my head as he kisses me deeply. "Mm. You're a good kisser Ace" He groans in my lips. "Hey you stole my nickname for you" I laugh. He shrugs and kisses me again. "Jeez what is it now" I break away from him because my phone was ringing. "I'm so sorry Oliver." He holds his hand on my arm as I look at who's calling me. Nick. I sigh, "I'm sorry I have to take this." He nods his head as I answer.
"Hey Nick what's up" I hold my hand to my lips as he talks. "Woah dude slow down" I try and say calmly. "Yeah yeah I'll see you there" I say heavily. I take deep breaths trying not to panic. "What's wrong" Oliver says, squeezing my arm. "Um I'm sorry can you take me to the rink."

I rush inside, sprinting over to Nick. I speak in between breaths. "What happened." I points over to Dorian. His jersey was covered in blood and he leaned his head back while he covered his face in ice. "Jesus Christ Dorian!" I yell as I rush over to him. "Hey doll" he smiles through the pain. I shake my head as I try and move the ice pack out of the way. He smiles, his face all bloody and his jaw swollen. Even swollen he had the most godly face. "What did you do" I laugh, trying to lighten the mood. "Oh you know, got slammed in the wall during the scrimmage. Again." I tuck his hair behind his ear. "Oh Dorian, what would you do without me."
Oliver walks in. "Hey sweetheart, everything good?" He kisses my head. Dorian rolls his eyes, his lip still bloody. "Why'd you bring your boyfriend here doll" he says, as he tugs at my pocket. "Oliver is not- he's not. You know what, you two need to get along" I say pursing my lips.
I turn to Nick. "Is this really what you needed me to come down for" I say in hushed tones, "it's not a big deal." I sigh and rub my brow. "I'm sorry Len I was just worried, he was so grouchy today." I shrug and ruffle Nicks hair. "It's ok I left my car here so I can drive us home." He smiles and whispers a simple thanks.
