a/n: hey guys lol, after long consideration, i think i'm gonna try get back into writing. over the year, i've found myself frequently returning to this book, rereading it as a reader. i realised how much potential it had and how much more it could grow. so i took it upon myself to finally continue. i also want to say a big thank you to everyone still supporting and reading this book, i still get notifications which is pretty cool, i figured this book would've died out. so here i am, ladies and gents, shadow will officially be continued.
a/n: if you're wondering why i'm posting a filler chapter, i'd like to get back into the flow of writing. i actually had began writing 'XXI: i'm not there' in my absence a few months back, but i never took it upon myself to continue it. similarly, i also had been wanting to write an 'ADDITIONAL TIME!' filler chapter a while back as well. so half of what is written in this chapter is what i wrote months ago. i'd like to apologise in advance for anyone reading this chapter if there's any sudden changes to the feel of the story. this chapter is also kinda a breather for any old readers. feel free to reread the last chapter before i publish a new one to catch you up on things. 2 years ago when i started this book, i never would've expected it to gain so much popularity. ever since i discontinued this book, i'd like to think i've gotten better at writing. little update on my life: i kind of dropped out of writing stories and went into poetry over the year, so please forgive me if what i publish isn't the same as what i used to.

SCENE 1: UNO
Team Z were all hanging around in their shared room. Naruhaya was trying to piss Gagamaru off, as always. Kuon was explaining some various playstyles to Iemon and Igarashi in hopes of making them a better player. Kunigami and Chigiri were just sitting next to each other, talking about their outside life. And Raichi, Bachira, Isagi, and Y/n were playing a game of Uno.
It was an intense match to say the least. At one point throughout the game, Isagi and Bachira decided to team up and gang up against Raichi, but of course, Raichi did not let that slide. Now, the game was at it's final peak. Bachira had 5 cards, Isagi had 4, and Raichi had 2. The card that was on the ground was a green 7. Raichi grinned mischievously.
"Just try me, losers. I'm the winner of this match."
"Nu-uh. The winner isn't decided until the game ends!"
Bachira retaliated with an evident frown on his face. He was taking this game really seriously. Isagi was also sweating nervously, looking at his deck and looking at the green 7. Just one wrong move, and Raichi would be at Uno.
Meanwhile, while the three males were having an intense battle, Y/n sat between Isagi and Raichi, and she was already at Uno. The males just seemed to have completely forgotten Y/n was playing. With a raise of her hand, Y/n tried to get their attention.
