"Excuse me!"

Shit! Why can't I keep quiet????
I saw the brown eye's friend and thought that she must be with her.
I was not going to do anything about but my stupid mouth couldn't control itself.
Wanting to know the face of the eyes, I have been thinking about, I stupidly called out.
Now, what do I say???
"Yes???"
The girl I helped spoke. My eyes went to her. The person I have been wanting to know for so long.
She looked at me for a second and then recognization drew upon those beautiful pair of brown Pearls.
She knew who I was!! We just looked at each other for a moment.
Siddharth say something before it gets awkward!
" Hi, Ummm...we meet earlier....umm...you know on the first day?"
It came out more like a question than a statement. What am I supposed to say that I am the person who helped you both out of a chaotic situation on the first day?????
At my sentence, the friend's eyes widened and looked at Ms.Brown eyes.
They looked at each other for a moment, like having a conversation, then Ms. Brown eyes spoke...
"Ah...Aisha, this is the person who helped us on the first day!!"
She said till they were conversing, I looked at the girl who I was thinking about for so long.
She was wearing a black saree with jhumkas...which complemented her in the most beautiful way possible.
She was looking so......so... I can't describe it. So simple yet with a unique charm to its aura. Like a rising sun. Like the new morning. Like a newly bloomed flower.
I could see the positivity around her. The fresh breath. The new fragrance.
I took a breath... I need it, for this conversation.
" Yeah, actually I saw you guys, passing by and wanted to ask, if you guys are okay?"
The girl I now know as Aisha spoke. I wonder what is her name?
" Ohhhh! Thanks for asking, we are absolutely fine. You know, we wanted to thank you for so long... That day you helped us a lot. By the way, this is my friend Anahita and I am Aisha."
Anahita, it suits her...
" That's great to know... I am Siddharth. Are you freshers??"
I know they are, the saree and the first-day anxiety explain it but I had to keep this conversation going to know her.
" Yeah... We are, are you too?"
This time she spoke.
" Yea...I am an IT student."
Before Anahita could say anything... Her friend spoke.
" Oh! That's great...Now Siddharth, could you please give my friend a little company... I need to use the restroom."
That was odd...but it is a great way to talk to her alone.
"Yeah...sure!!"
" You don't need to, I mean you might have other company waiting for you?"
It was a question, and I could see hope in her eyes for me to deny it. She doesn't want to expect something. But I could see, she wanted a conversation as much as I do.
" No, I mean I don't know anyone well here. I could use some company too."
" Fantastic!!! I'll leave you both to it and see you guys at the chairs by the food stalls...Yeah?"
Before we could give any approval, she was already off.
"Ummm... Let's grab a seat...Shall we?"
I asked, there is some awkwardness in the air but every first meet does...
"Yeah!!"
We went to the table in the corner...there was silence for a bit...when I got the courage to speak.
"So...Anahita, what course have you joined her?"
"Mmm...I am doing B.A. English here."
" Oh...that's great...are you a local here?"
" No...I am from Moradabad, UP... I am in the campus hostel...You? Are you local?"
" Yeah...born and brought up here. So... How are you finding my city? I hope it's been welcoming.."
I asked she gave me a small laugh and smile at me.
That smile showed comfort. The boundaries of awkwardness were out now. I could see a great friend in her.
"Hmm...till now I haven't experienced much in Mumbai. It's new but I like it. I hope you can help me to know more?"
" If you'll allow me, by the way, you and your friend look close. Did you know each other from before?"
" Yeah, actually we are school best friends...we are almost the same person... If we are talking, then I have to warn you that we both together are like a tsunami!"
We laughed at this. I had noticed earlier that the bonding, they shared. They looked like two peas in a pod.
I hope I could share something with them too. Especially, my Ms. Brown eyes...who I now know as Anahita....
