Chapter 2: Wake up

Beep beep beep

"Is she going to be alright? We need to know! Please!" 
'Who was that?'
"Don't worry about that right now! The kids! Go to them!" She could sense the panic in the room. She couldn't wake up at all but she knew something was very wrong. What happened? Why couldn't she wake up? "Why would he also stab Aki too? She's only 11 for crying out loud!" 
She knew she was laying down flat on a soft surface but she didn't know what. She could only hear the sounds from around her. 'Am I dying?' She thought to herself. She could feel cold hands rubbing over hers. "I'm sorry you had to go through that Aki. Ai is dead. You were well and on your way too.. You almost died leaving your sister's children behind. I bet you were so scared. You're going to be broken after this aren't you?" She could hear a woman say, tracing her hand over hers. Aki groaned. 'Wake up'
Aki groaned awake at last. The first thing her eyes squinted at was the woman who was caressing her hand. "Miyako?" Aki asked. She watched the woman smile openly in relief. "I though you were going to..." She mumbled.

It all came back.
Aki's eyes dulled at the memory. "Nee... where is she?" She looked at the older woman. The woman had a hard time saying out loud. "Ai is.." She began before pausing. "Ai is what huh?! Where is the man that killed my sister? I'll murder him! I can't believe him! He was our fan, how could he do something like that?! In front of the children too! I don't care what happens to me but why Ai? Ai can't be really dead! That's a lie! You're lying to me!" Aki shouted in tears. She screamed repeatedly thrashing around harshly as her wounds reopened. "Aki! You must remain calm! You've only just exited a life threatening injury that is far from healing!" Miyako exclaimed. Aki's heart rate skyrocketed alerting the doctors who rushed in to cease the girl's panic. Despite Aki's screaming in sorrow the doctors had do what was the safest for her. Propofol.
After a short period of time she was put to sleep and had her injures resealed. "Aki.." Miyako muttered from the outside of the operation room.

The children did not take this well any better than Aki did.
As they were all over social media viewing the damage that had been done. Ruby began screaming at the phone as she read the comments. "Poor Aki.. She seems to be getting the worst of it too. Hear this one! 'Aki wasn't even as good as Ai. Why is she the one to survive this? Why didn't she die instead?' Aki is just a child!" Ruby screamed. Aquamarine clenched his jaw at the news. This wasn't fair. Why was Aki the one getting slammed into the dirt? She was the victim too. They wished death upon an 11 year old child and it then became obvious that of who the fans actually preferred. " 'That copy cat could die for all I care'?! What the hell?! Don't they know that Aki was also there as she watched Ai die?" Ruby exclaimed. No one took the news perfectly. The middle of B Komachi was dead and there was nothing anyone can do to possibly change the fact. And in 3 days after the headlines all trace of Ai's death left the talk of the show as if the freshly fallen snow hid the aftermath of Ai's death and Aki's attempted murder. 

The murder, committed suicide after the assault so there was no action that could be towards him anyways. 1 week later and Aki was discharged from the hospital and placed in immediate victim counselling. They kept her away from social media and even her phone for a while for they believe Aki wouldn't be able to stand the hate she was receiving so the never told her. She was already hurt as it was. On the night before Ai's funeral she and the two others were asked by Miyako to officially become her children for real this time.
"Miyako.." Aki muttered out her first words since she woke up from her short lived coma. Miyako waited to hear her screaming at her in fury only to hear,
"I've always thought of you as my mother even though I never had on. Everyone, including the entire B Komachi idol group were my family. I wouldn't mind to be called officially yours." Aki whispered out. Shortly she and Ruby were in the arms of Miyako. And the day after than was heartfelt in sorrow. Ai's body rested in a white coffin surrounded by flowers as Aki just stood there emotionless and watched it all go down.

Time skip forwards and all two children were seated in a car, staring out the window watching Aki walk towards the car as her fans bombarded her with questions only to be protected by her body guards. Shortly after the attention was removed from her and back at the front as Aki now sat in between the twins. 
"Mama said once, that maybe on day I would become an idol. Do you think I have what it takes?" Ruby asked. "It's no use becoming one. If you want to make money a different job will be faster and easier. The fans are always selfish. You'll face criticism if you get a boyfriend." Aqua said. "You know he's right Ruby. Take it from me. I lived by every word the fans wanted, so much so that I began to envy my own sister who loved and cared for me every step of the way. I took her for granted." Aki mumbled. "Even so, you and mama sparkled bright." Ruby said.
"That was before. I don't think I have it anymore. Ai was my only reason." Aki stated. Ruby could see Aki's downcast expression through the reflection  of the glass she stared out from. Only a matter of moments passed when all was silent between the three.

Moments later Aki caught glimpse of her nephew's sadistic glare and could only come up with one conclusion.
'You're feeling it too then, Aqua? I get it. I want to kill the perpetrator too. I could only guess that you figured out that the only person who could have done this was your father. Although I've only met him once I could only remember those's ugly traitorous eyes. I forgot his name, face and age but his eyes I will never forget. I'm with you too.. all the way. I'm going to kill any bastard who dares to get in my way. For Ai!'

"You want to know who did it too don't you Aqu?" Aki asked, walking alongside him.
He looked over to her in mild shock. "How do you.." He muttered. "Know? I saw it. I don't blame you if you have the intent to kill. I do too. You want to find out  who it really was but I think you have a reasonably good person in mind. As do I." She stated.
"Our father. I'll kill him I'll figure it out and I will take my revenge on him." Aqua said walking side by side with Aki. "I'll help you. I don't remember his name and face but I can never forget his eyes. My sister's death will not be in vain." Aki stated. The boy was slightly shocked to see the all charismatic girl who was only ever sweet and kind be so dark and sinister but agreed never the less. "Heading to the director?" She asked.
"Yeah. I want him to raise me. If my mom ever dated someone it would be in the entertainment industry. You have a fair share of years in the industry so it wouldn't be difficult for you." Aqua said. Aki who limped beside him hummed in agreement.
"Good luck but I think I'll go stand beside Miyako. My injuries still hurts to walk around too much but I must see my sister for one final time." Aki said as Aqua nodded.

'This is only the start. I'll be there, coming for you. You took away what was dear to me so I'll take everything away from you too. I'll make you beg me for mercy. 
Now, this is the beginning of our revenge play.'
But for right now..
It's the calm before the storm.
