"I'll um-" seungcheol began as he met up with the rest of his friends in the empty hallway. "I'll fix her up."

"What happened to her." Wonwoo came closer as seungcheol moved J away, now in his arms.

"Is she okay?" Joshua questioned.

"It's none of your concern." Seungcheol suddenly growled.

"But Dino-" seungkwan began.

"Dino will not hear a word about this." The oldest of the 11 boys snarled as he walked out of school and into the car waiting for him.

"Nearest pharmacy." Is all he said as his driver nodded.

'Why do I care so much?' Seungcheol's mind was swept in thoughts as he looked down at J.

-
"What the-" J opened her eyes slowly. She was seated on a chair as she felt someone's finger on her forhead.

"Stop moving." Seungcheol held her shoulder in place to try and get her to be still.

Her breath hitched when she looked up to see the boys face so close to her. He was breathing so lightly but she could feel it on her face. J looked down to see him holding some kind of ointment. He was focused on her wound that it made her smile, subconsciously.

"Are you feeling okay?" Seungcheol asked as he put the cap back on the ointment.

"Mm." J nodded at him. "Thank you. You keep saving me." She turned to look at him and they made eye contact.

"You keep needing me." Seungcheol spoke, not looking away from her.

J smiled at him, and it was genuine and true, because, she felt a warmth in her heart. The way she did with Dino all those days ago. Although, slightly different.

She realized she may have been wrong about the 12 boys. About seungcheol. Maybe, they weren't as bad as she had made them out to be.

They looked at each other as people passed by and J felt the ointment helping ease the pain in all her wounds. She didn't even know where all she had been hurt yet. J's eyes darted from seungcheols dimples to his eyes as she noticed how long his lashes were. How his eyes were the type of brown you could get lost in.

"You have beautiful eyes." She told him, feeling herself actually getting lost in them.

Seungcheol felt his heart jump and the corners of his mouth turned into a shy smile. He opened his mouth to speak when J suddenly stood up.

"Oh my- what time is it!" She looked down at her watch. "Shit. Shit. I'm 20 minutes late." J looked around to try and figure out exactly where she was.

"What-" seungcheol stood up as well.

"Ugh we're on 13th street. I need to get to 17th." She rattled her brain. "I have to go." She turned around to speak to seungcheol. "I'll see you tomorrow mm?" She bummed, smiling as she took off running.

"I have a car-" seungcheol talked to himself as he watched her run.

He smiled, walking to the car.

-

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry." J ran into the pizza shop as she saw her manager.

"It's okay-" yeonjun stopped in the middle of his sentence as he looked up at J. "Oh my- what happened to you." He walked over to her.

"Oh? Is it that bad?" She asked him, walking over to a mirror to check her wounds.

And yes, it was bad. Her lip and eyebrow were badly cut. But the real problem was her forhead, it was gashed open and it seemed as though the only reason she couldn't feel the pain was because of the ointment seungcheol had put on.

"Go home J. Rest." Yeonjun spoke quietly.

"But-" she tried to speak but he didn't let her.

"I'll pay you fully. Just take some days off, don't worry about the money." He guided her out of the store.

She smiled at him, but didn't go home. Instead she went to the convince store and checked in early for her shift there.

J wandered what would've happened if seungcheol hadn't helped her. She realized she was very grateful to
him, she suddenly felt bad for being so mean towards him and the rest of his friends.

'Shall I buy him bread to thank him?' J questioned as she walked around the store. 'Maybe a pastry?' She wondered, looking through all the snacks. 'Shall I bake him a cake?' J finally thought. She did love baking, so that's what she decided on.

As J's shift ended, she picked up the ingredients she needed and left to her apartment. Baking had always come easy to her, it was something she enjoyed and put her heart into.

"Wah." She packed the cake in a little box as she fell on her bed, passing out immediately with some flour stuck on her nose.

J held the box close to her, tightly as she walked into school, smiling a bit. She couldn't remember the last time she had a smile on her face while coming to school. She put the cake in her locker as she walked to homeroom.

"We're doing a partner activity today." Mr lee announced.

"I've already put you in groups of two. No whining." He took out a sheet as he called out names.

"J and eunwoo."

J looked around to match the name to a face. There was a boy looking back at her, shyly smiling.

"You may find a seat with your partner now

"You may find a seat with your partner now." Mr lee spoke as he handed out an instruction sheet.

Seungcheol looked over at jana as she got up to find a seat near eunwoo and his hands curled into fists.

"Hi." A girl stood in front of seungcheol. "I'm mar." She smiled as he pulled away his attention from J.

"Congratulations." Seungcheol rolled his eyes.

"Oh." Mar giggled a little. "You're so funny seungcheol oppa." She sat down next him, in J's seat. Moving the seat even closer to his.

J turned around to see Mar laughing at what seungcheol said, and for some unexplainable reason she felt a pang in her heart.
