Violet cried out in fear as she saw Minerva swing an assault rifle and bash the back of Clem's head with the end of it. The werewolf blacking out and falling to the ground.

"Clementine!" Violet yelled as tears pooled in her eyes.

Lily smiled as she saw Clem fall to the ground. "Nice job, soldier." She congratulated Minerva. Then she whistled and waved a few people over. "Get the chains over here." She watched as three men ran over and looped some chains around the unconscious wolf's neck then a fourth guy came over and placed a metal muzzle over her snout.

The four men hoisted her up off the ground then carried her over to a cage with metal bars and set her in. Lily watched with satisfaction as the rest of the kids were rounded up and placed inside carts with their hands tied behind their backs. The fight being over once Clem collapsed.

Lily waved to the sniper in the tree to climb down then signaled for her troops to move forward. "Let's head out!" She gave Violet a disappointing look on her way to the front. "I told you she couldn't do it."

Violet paid her no mind as she dropped to her knees and cried. She felt lost and hopeless and wanted nothing more than to have Clem wrap her arms around her and hold her close.

She did look up however when Minerva walked by. She glared at the redhead. "I hope you're happy now."

Minnie was handed a gun and she smiled at Violet. "Don't worry. You'll change your mind once we get there."

Violet glared at her as she watched her walk away but went back to sulking once she was gone. She felt the jolt of the carts starting to move but paid it no mind. She didn't look up until she felt a hand on her shoulder. AJ looked down at her with worry in his eyes. "Clem will be okay. I can still feel her wolf."

Violet wiped her eyes. "Yeah. Me too. I just worry you know."

AJ sat down next to Violet. "It's okay. That's what mates do."

Violet gave him a slight smile. "Yeah, you're right."

Clem's Pov:

"Get up!"

"Get up! She needs us!"

I felt the pull of my wolf calling out to me. I wanted to move but couldn't just yet. My eyes felt heavy and remained closed but the voice in my head was persistent.

"GET. UP."

I groaned as I came to. I blinked through bleary eyes, not being able to tell where I was. I closed my eyes again wanting nothing more than to just lay there. My head hurt and I could feel a burning sensation on my face and body. But my wolf called out to me again.

"GET! UP!"

My eyes shot open and I jumped up. But something held me in place. It burned and I instinctively stopped moving. I stared around trying to get my vision to focus. Then my ears picked up the sound of my name.

"Clementine!?"

"Clem!?"

I looked over and my vision cleared as I caught sight of Violet and AJ. But I realized that I was looking through bars. Alarm ran through me and my body jostled as I tried to stand up, but something held me down. My back burned as I pushed against my restraints. I stopped my struggling and stared around as my heart beat fast in my chest. I could feel the same burning sensation around my neck and my face. I stared down my snout and noticed the metal muzzle attached to my face. I soon realized what was causing the burning sensation.

"Silver."

My restraints were made from silver. Obviously, the rope that they had used last time wouldn't be enough to hold me so they had opted for silver chains instead. One of a werewolf's weaknesses and also harder for someone to break through. My mind flashed to the girl who had untied me when on the boat for the first time. What had Violet called her? Sophie? I wondered if she had survived the explosion but my thoughts were cut short as shouts were heard up ahead.
