"Then he sat outside my door for at least ten minutes, like some spoiled kid. It was honestly fucking hilarious."

"God, yeah. He's delusional."

Delia and Specs had gone through with their plans and are now having a tasty lunch in the quiet café. It almost felt like a date, but also not really as they had only met the night before.

"So Specs, since you're a ghost-hunter and all, you must like horror movies, right?" Delia asks.

Specs chuckles as he shakes his head. "Actually, no. I like some, but can't handle others. Some of them feel way too real for me."

"Seriously?" Delia responds, her eyes wide. "So you can face real-life demons but not watch any in a horror movie?"

"Yep. I know, it's unbelievable. I prefer movies that bring me a little escapism like sci-fi and action. You know like, Star-Treck, Marvel, anything that was based on comics really. I've got a rare collection of those too."

"Oh so you're a nerd, but not in a bad way. It's cute. Those films are okay I suppose. I tried watching the first Star-Treck movie, but it was kinda shit. I got bored straight away."

Specs gasps. "What? Okay, we are gonna change that at some point. So, what's your favourite movie?"

"The original A Nightmare on Elm Street. It's the perfect horror movie, down to every factor."

"So, Freddy Kruger doesn't scare you? He gave me nightmares for weeks!"

"Don't blame you, he's frightening all right. But, he's the best horror villain in movie history in my opinion." Delia pauses for a second, thinking back to her encounter with that demon, that had to be one of Freddy's accomplices due to its power. She decides to change the subject. "What music do you like?"

Specs hums in thought for a moment. "Bits of everything, I guess. I do like Queen, U2, Evanescence, stuff like that. What about you? I have a feeling you like Evanescence too for some reason."

Delia giggles. "Jesus, how did you know? Yes, I love them. Amy Lee is pretty fucking amazing. I'm also kind of a sucker for today's pop songs too."

"Aren't we all," Specs remarks. "Let's be real, Taylor Swift is fantastic."

"Oh yeah. She's never made a bad album."

The two continue to talk about their interests, with Specs telling more about ghost-hunting and Delia telling him about her ballet days. She told him about the challenges that came with it such as the overwhelming competitiveness, the strict teachers who constantly commented on her posture, weight, anything to tear her down. She doesn't miss any of that, but she misses the sport as a whole. She was insanely good at it. Specs tops it all off saying that he's glad she didn't turn out like Natalie Portman's character in Black Swan.

After having and paying for lunch, Delia finds her vision blurring as she gets up from her seat. She closes them tight, wishing the dizziness away. It seems to be worse. She walks over to Specs, who can clearly see that something is wrong. "Hey, you okay?"

Delia nods but it is clear she is not. She tries to walk out of the restaurant but her eyes begin to shut unexpectedly. She begins to fall, but Specs catches her before she can hurt herself. "Oh shit, Delia!"

He holds her tight so she doesn't continue to slip and sits her back down. He breaths speed up rapidly, hoping that she just fainted and nothing more. He's seen other symptoms like this and hopes it is nothing like them.

The café managers seem to notice Specs, feeling her head to check her temperature and checking her pulse. "Is everything all right, sir?" one of them asks, pacing over to him.
