On a chilly autumn day in October, I accompanied my friend, Sypha, to a charming coffee shop. The smell of coffee was strong, along with the scent of pastries. As we queued for our beverages, my attention was drawn to a striking stranger with lengthy blonde hair tied neatly in a bun. He sported a brown turtleneck, a light brown jacket, and matching pants. Unlike most people, his complexion was quite pale. Our eyes met, and his yellow, almost golden, gaze locked with mine. He was situated at a nearby table, leisurely sipping a small coffee. After receiving our drinks, Sypha and I settled into our seats.
"Alucard appears to be glancing at you," Sypha observed.
I glanced back at the stranger, only to discover he was still staring. "Do you know him?" I asked.
"Yes, he's a nice guy," she replied, beaming.
"He's quite attractive," I whispered, "Is he single?"
"Indeed, he is!" she replied, still smiling.
I waved shyly at Alucard, and he waved back.
Sypha mentioned to me that she spoke to him about me, and it seems that he has taken a liking to me. Curious, I asked why that may be. Sypha explained that she had mentioned my kind and sweet nature and that I would be interested in going on a date with him here.
Today.
I was surprised and acted hastily, slamming my hands on the table and standing up suddenly, causing some people to look at me strangely. Sypha let me know that the person I was set up with was already aware of the arrangement, leaving me to handle the situation on my own. I took a deep breath and tried to compose myself before making my way to Alucard's table and taking a seat.
I expressed my apologies, feeling embarrassed for my reaction towards my friend. It was out of character for me to behave that way.
During our conversation, he mentioned that Sypha had spoken positively about me. I inquired about the details of their conversation.
He smiled and reassured me that Sypha had only said good things. As I sipped my coffee, I felt flattered by his kind words.
Curiosity got the best of me, and I asked him why he had agreed to go on this date. He explained that Sypha had informed him I was single and often complained about it. Perhaps going on a date would give me something to be happy about.
As I savoured my coffee, I couldn't help but appreciate how unexpectedly kind Alucard was.
"Well, thank you," I smiled, "So far, this date has been nice."
As he smiled at me, I couldn't help but feel my heart flutter. We engaged in various discussions and were pleasantly surprised to find many shared interests. We continued talking until the shop closed.
"Thank you for a wonderful time," I expressed my gratitude, "I should be heading out now."
Suddenly, he handed me a piece of paper that contained his full name, address, phone number, and email address. "Here's my number," he said.
"Oh, you want to go on another date sometime? I thought I talked way too much!" I said jokingly, "Sure, we can definitely go on another date next week if you'd like."
I left, walking home in the dark.
Little did I know, Alucard smiled to himself, happy that I would want to go on another date with him.
