You have become more and more curious lately. Almost nosy.
You were especially curious about the two bodies outside.
Ah, yes, the two bodies were one of the seven mysteries of Alucard.
The other six, you didn't know. That's why they're mysteries.
The bodies were rotting outside on that day you finally asked why.
"Alucard, why are there two bodies impaled outside the castle, if you don't mind me asking?" You asked while you helped him wash the dishes.
He dropped the plate he was washing, causing it to shatter into many pieces, both big and small on the floor.
"Alucard, is everything okay?" you asked with concern as you noticed him shaking uncontrollably. You reached out to hug him, but he pushed you away forcefully and yelled, "Please, you need to leave...just go!"
You were taken aback and asked, "What did I do wrong?"
"Stop asking questions! You need to go now!" he shouted.
You obliged and headed to your room to pack your things. You sobbed as you stared at the painting he had made of you and him in the hallway.
"Why did he yell at me?" You asked yourself, "I only asked him about..." The realization finally came to you.
With a sense of urgency, you left your room and began searching for Alucard, feeling terrible and worried about him. Eventually, you found him in his room, crying uncontrollably and trembling with emotion.
"Alucard...I understand why you did it," you said empathetically while looking at his swollen and red eyes.
It's clear that Alucard is not a violent person, and you know that he wouldn't do anything so barbaric unless someone had hurt him.
"Y/N..." he sniffled.
"I'm here, darling," you hugged him.
He buried his head in the crook of your neck, shaking slightly.
You gently ran your fingers through his almost flawless golden hair as you asked, "Did they hurt you?"
"They tried to k-kill me..." He stuttered.
"Alucard..."
You gently rubbed his back. Had you known, you wouldn't have asked such a question.
