As I sat in the castle, I was pleasantly surprised by the serene atmosphere. However, my peaceful moment was soon interrupted by the arrival of a carriage carrying two individuals. One was a towering, muscular man that I immediately recognized, while the other was unfamiliar. As I gazed out the window, I turned to Alucard and asked, "Who are those people?"
"They are my friends, Trevor and Sypha," he replied.
"Trevor, I know, but who's Sypha?" I inquired.
"You know Trevor?" he asked in surprise.
"Oh, that bastard Belmont," I sighed. "I had to kick him out of the bar during a brawl when I was a sixteen-year-old bartender."
"I understand," Alucard chuckled, and I couldn't help but smile back at him. We made our way to the castle entrance and were met with the expected sight of Trevor and Sypha.
"Y/N?" Trevor's voice rang out in disbelief.
"Belmont," I said coldly.
"What are you doing here?" He asked.
"I could ask the same question, but I already know," I said with a hint of sass but then softened my tone. "The truth is, I'm here because I've developed feelings for Alucard and he for me."
Trevor's eyes widened, "Good luck Alucard; I flirted with her while drunk before and got slapped so hard, you could read her fortune from looking at my face; it left such a mark."
Sypha began to chuckle.
"It's not funny, Sypha; it really hurt," he complained.
"How did you manage it, Alucard?" Sypha asked, smiling, her accent somewhat thick.
"I didn't flirt with her while drunk," he said teasingly.
"Hey!" Trevor exclaimed.
You couldn't help but chuckle. Alucard was the opposite of Trevor. He was kind, funny, had the face of an angel...
You could ramble on for days about why you loved Alucard.
But that was for another day.
