Chapter Eleven

Serenity woke up sandwiched between two boys. She felt Vali behind, and Daemon buried his face into her chest. She heard the door open and saw Persi take a running leap. "Persi No! You'll hurt Mommy and your brother!" Serenity yelled out. It was too late as Persi landed on her father's stomach and her mother. Daemon had rolled over to avoid the excited child with his reflexes. Vali groaned in pain, and Persi giggled. Serenity groaned as Persi stayed on her stomach. "Go fuck yourself Daemon." Serenity hissed at the dragon who turned over.

"Come on Daddy! You gotta get up. You promised we would go out to the festival today!" Serenity sat up and she held her nose. "Mommy you stink!" Serenity felt betrayed that her kid threw her under the bus.

"That's because your brother is pressing on Mommy's intestines." Serenity groaned as she moved to the window and opened it.

"Oh Nightmares Serenity!" Daemon hissed as he covered his nose.

"I'm sorry that my ass stinks!" Serenity hissed. "I'm sorry that I have a child in my stomach!"

"Take an antigas pill." Vali advised. "Normally after you shit you don't stink." Serenity hissed at the two and took an antigas pill. "I know you can't help it." Persi pulled on Vali's hair who groaned.

"Come on Daddy! We need to make breakfast for Mommy and Asher!" Persi giggled as she bounded up to her mother and pressed her face against her mother's swollen stomach. "Do you think Asher will want to play?"

"When he gets older." Serenity hummed as Daemon stayed in the bed.

"C'mon Persi, let's cook for Mommy." Vali hummed as he picked up the child. Serenity followed and she groaned in pain. Vali looked at her in worry and she shook her head.

"Mommy! You're bleeding!" Persi yelled out in worry.

"Ah. It seems your brother is coming." Serenity groaned in pain. Vali set the child down and went over to her. Ge helped her to the bed and Serenity cried in pain. Lavinia was summoned and Persi was taken out of the room reluctantly. The child screamed the entire time on the way out.

Serenity panted as Lavinia healed her. Persi was looking inside the crib at her baby brother. The three year old looked amazed at her brother. "Mommy. Asher is so small."

"That he is." Serenity hummed.

"He won't be able to play Red Light, Green Light, Firetruck." Persi pouted which caused Serenity to laugh. "Where's Daddy?"

"Daddy is helping Issei out of juggernaut drive." Serenity hummed as Lavinia helped her up. She sat on the chair and pulled Asher out. "Do you think he's going to look like Mommy or Daddy?" Serenity asked.

"I think Asher will look like both Mommy and Daddy!" Persi giggled. Serenity hummed as she ruffled her daughter's hair. Persi giggled as she watched her mother take a bottle and feed the baby. She heard the door open and saw her father. "Daddy!" The three year old tackled Vali who groaned in pain.

"Persi. Be careful with your father." Serenity hummed softly as Asher fell asleep in her arms.

"Ok Mommy." Vali came closer as he smiled softly at the baby in her arms.

"He's so beautiful." Vali cooed over the child. He took the child in his arms and he kissed Serenity's head. "You should sleep."

"Mmm." Serenity yawned as she fell asleep. Vali hummed as he cooed at his son. Asher opened his eyes and he started to cry. Serenity woke up and she whined.

"It's fine. He's just hungry." Vali hummed as Persi came in, dragging a blanket. The three year old wanted to do all she could for Mommy. The three year old curled up with her mother and covered up.

"Mommy. Are you ok?" Persi had tears in her eyes.

"Why wouldn't I be ok?" Serenity cooed as she kissed the top of her head.

"Mommy was screaming in pain."

"It's fine. Shifting the first time hurt worse." Serenity hummed.

"Does shifting hurt more?"

"They both hurt the same." Serenity hummed.

"But you were screaming."

"Mommy screams when she's shifting." Vali hummed as Persi looked at him. "But we'll have to protect her and Asher now." Vali hummed. Persi nodded and she started to cry in pain.

" What's going on?" Serenity screamed as her daughter was clawing at her back. A pair of black wings ripped through her shirt and she whimpered in pain.

"Daemon?!" Serenity screamed. The dragon appeared and he checked over Persi.

"She's not a devil. But she acquired Vali's wings." Daemon hummed. He was hesitant to feed Persi his blood. "Relax Serenity. The only other dragon I'm sensing is you."

"What are you talking about?" Daemon frowned.

"Do you remember drinking my blood?"

"Yeah."

"Well apparently our DNA mixed." Daemon hummed as he moved his hands over Serenity's back. "She's not the only who's wings will be coming out." Daemon hummed as he moved his hands over her head.

"I'm sorry, you're saying that Serenity is going to have draconic features?"

"Yes. More specifically my draconic features. Well it's sort of a good thing."

"Why?"

"Because the children of the Nightmare Realm have declared you as queen of the Nightmare Realm."

"I'm sorry. I'm getting a lot of information all at once and I just gave birth literally an hour ago!" Serenity snapped. Daemon caught her before she fell.

"Seriously?" Vali hissed at Daemon. The silver haired boy had set Asher down and covered Persi up with a blanket. The child had fallen asleep. "Why did you have to overload her with information?"

"Oh like you didn't try to make her rest." Daemon hissed back.

"Yeah and where were you for most of the day? You left before I did!" Vali snapped.

"Don't get cocky with me."

"Both of you shut up." Azazel had come in when he heard the kids. "Before you wake up the kids." Azazel shook his head at the two boys. "Serenity just gave birth to a child. So Vali, be a good mate and help her! You too Daemon, aren't dragons supposed to protect their eggs? Wait if you get Serenity pregnant?"

"Female dragons lay the eggs right?"

"First of all, not all dragons do. Second of all my type of dragon we have to fall in love with someone in order to have kids. I was born from an egg though. I'm pretty sure I lay eggs inside the female. I don't know because Serenity was the only one who was immune to my fear magic."
