Today's the day. My mom's funeral. It starts at 11 ó clock, "Casey, get ready we need to be there early. The boys and Juliet are going to come later." I stayed staring at the ceiling, "Come on" he say next to me on my bed. I turned to face him, "If you want me to get done. Pull me up please." I stretched out my arms. He gently picked me up and placed me on the floor, "Brrrr cold." I shivered, "Get dressed. We need to leave soon." He closed my door. I got up and looked in the mirror. My hair looks worse than all the boys morning hair combined. Today I wore a plain black sweater, black tights with black and white high-cut converse. My hair was neatly tied in a pony tail. I did my usual eyeliner with a hint of black eyeshadow. I approved and walked to the car. Andy was inside already, wearing his black suit and tie. We arrived in a couple of minutes, "CASEY!!" My name was being called. I turned to see three girls running towards me. Quickly ,I hid behind Andy, "Casey? It's only us." That voice, Cydney. I looked at the girls, "Tyra, Remondé, Cydney!" I cried. I haven't seen Cyd in ages. She and I were inseparable, "what are you guys doing here?" This made my day, "I called their parents last night and Cyd is coming with us on tour. Her mom said it was okay. Surprise!" I had the biggest grin on my face and so did the little kid who was 10 days younger than me. Cyd and I are the same age. Time flew and it was time to begin. Andy, Cyd, Crystal (cyd's mom) and I sat up in front. Juliet and the others sat behind us. Even Andy's parents, Amy and Chris came. The preacher preached and preached. Finally, it was time for Andy and I to do our obituary. Andy spoke first, "Michelle and I, when we were kids, I'd love to annoy her. Funny enough we used to tell each other everything. Never did I ever imagine her kid would look exactly like her. She was like a sister to me. I love you Michy. You were a great mother." Andy out his hand on my shoulder. My turn, "My mom loved me. She raised me herself when my dad left us. I love you mom, I'll miss you." I choked out the last few words. I'd now won the crying battle. We said our goodbyes, "Sweetheart you were brave out there" aunt Amy said as she hugged me, "Thanks ,I haven't seen you in a long time" uncle Chris laughed, "Of course you haven't we last saw you when you were a baby." "See you dear. Have fun with Andy and the boys" aunt Amy said before she and uncle Chris left. Cyd and her mom walked up to us, "Okay Andy here's her clothes. She needs to behave. Love you baby. Have fun." Crystal hurried off, "she will" "I will" Cyd and I said simultaneously. We laughed. Here we go.
