chapter 2

Luka went to school for the entire week without Ryan and he can't lie, he really missed him.
He's not a very social person, but he could live for some time without him.

But he really wasn't ready for the announcement their school was giving out.

"Prom!?" Jane squealed out.

"Why are u so excited abt prom?" Asked Mia.

"We don't have prom back in Dubai, so yeah I'm very excited" Jane said.

"Oh wait.....jk left for some family shit last week, ugh who tf am I gonna go with!?" Jane said.

"Pfft" Irene and Mia both laughed on her face.

"Shut up, it's okay I'm still excited" Jane said smiling.

But Luka wasn't very excited, now see he did have only 3 friends that were girls, and to his bad luck their all taken and will most likely go with their bfs. Whereas he was damn single.

He looked around trying to find someone that isn't gonna be taken, but nah.

Just then Ryan came in through the door.

"Sorry I'm late miss" he said as he sat down in his seat next to Luka.

"Oh Ur in" Luka said as he smiled at Ryan, but Ryan didn't smile back.

"Yeah" he said.

"We have prom coming up" Luka said.

"Prom? Oh ok, I prob won't go" Ryan said.

"You won't? Why is it cuz u got nobody to go with" Luka said laughing out.

But Ryan didn't budge. Just stared at Luka.

"Well I'm going, I just need to find someone to go with" Luka said looking around the class.

"Maybe you can go with me..." Ryan said.

Lukas smile dropped as he was unsure abt what he heard, he slowly turned to look at Ryan who had a straight face.

He looked completely serious saying it, but then it was gone when Ryan suddenly burst out laughing.

Luka looked at him confused.

"Huh?" He said.

"I'm joking, I'm already going with someone" said Ryan laughing.

"Who?-" Luka's words were cut off by a girl entering class.

"Hey" the girl said walking towards Ryan and sitting next to him.

"Look there's prom, wanna go with me?" Ryan asked.

"Sure" the girl said as she went on her phone.

"Luke, this is Suzy" Ryan said looking at Luka.

"My girlfriend"

Luka's eyes widened in surprise, girlfriend?? Since when has he been dating and why didn't he tell anything abt it.

"We've been dating for abt a week now, and you know how I was gone for a week? Yeah that's where I met her"

Luka just simply nodded and smiled slightly at him, so that's who he's going to prom with, well who on this fucking planet earth was Luka gonna go with?

He then made eye contact with Jane, he remembered how jk hasn't been in for a while now.

No.

He shouldn't ask her.

Ew.

Jane too had made eye contact with Luka, she then remembered Luka had no bitches, and will never get any.

No.

She shouldn't ask him.

Ew.

The both sighed as if they both understood what eachother was thinking.

"Listen, I'm only going with u cuz jk ain't here" Jane said right after class ended.

"Same here, I'm going with u cuz I got no one to go with" Luka said nodding and walking away and so was Jane.

"Wait but how abt jk, won't be feel..idk jealous or smth" Mia asked.

"Why on earth would jk be jealous, Luka has no bitches for a reason" Jane said.

Ryan walked up to Luka and asked,

"Are u actually going with Jane?"

"Yeah" Luka said

Ryan laughed at him and then hit his back.

"Tf was that for" Luka asked.

Ryan simply laughed and went towards Suzy, Luka just watched, ever since he got introduced to Suzy, for some reason he really disliked her.....aura? He didn't know what it was, but he really found her annoying, though he's only met her like 2 hours ago.

And when prom came he found her even more annoying.

Prom was a special event that was meant to be fun and enjoyable for every senior, but Luka was simply sitting there all alone watching everyone dance and have the time of their lives.

Well not completely alone,

He was sitting next to Jane, who was equally bored.

Luka tried to make it seem a bit less boring by starting conversations, which went quite well, but Jane was someone that preferred to enjoy their time in a party by doing things that are usually done at a party, she simply wanted to dance and have fun, which was opposite of what they were currently doing.

Not that Luka was the opposite oh hell no, Luka was the same, he was someone that didn't care abt what others thought of him, he could go on the dance floor and start twerking if he wanted to, he could start barking out of nowhere if he wanted to,

He simply was not in the mood, because his eyes were never at the prom, the dance or anyone else.

His eyes were on one person.

Ryan.

He felt left out, he felt he wasn't needed by Ryan, ofcourse he wasn't needed, Ryan was simply spending his prom with his girlfriend, dancing with her.....holding her waist.....kissing her.

But he would really appreciate it if Ryan even thought of waving at him atleast, but as soon as the prom started Ryan didn't spare a glance at Luka,

He wouldn't usually take these things to heart, but it's the way Jane atleast had company from Irene and Mia although Irene and Mia already had their prom dates.

Atleast Janes friends would wave at her, atleast they would come to her and talk with her from time to time,

It's also the way Jane's friends were the ones that came to him and spoke to him.

But just as he was in deep thought abt him,

He finally spared a glance.

But that glance lasted exactly 2 seconds before Ryan looked back at Suzy and smiled at her.
