"Hey, Naruto. How come you aren't interested in love?" Sakura asked as she entered Naruto's office with her arms crossed.

Naruto glanced at her "I'm not sure.. I'm just not into that."

"Was it because of that girl who rejected you twice in high school?"

"Wha- No! It wasn't that." The blonde grumbled

"You sure? Because after that you were really sad and depressed."

"I'm sure. Besides. That's all in the past and I moved on a week after that.." Naruto replied

"Mmm.. sure. Anyways. Sasuke's birthday is coming up soon. We should plan something since that emo bastard just sits in his office all day. I bet you he never celebrates his birthday."

"Well, that's true.."

"Wait, it is?" Sakura asked with a raised brow "You've know Sasuke for years. You had to force Sasuke to do something for his birthday, right?"

"Yeah, I did. But he never liked what I did so I just stopped." Naruto said with a sigh

Sakura thought for a moment "Hey, how about we throw him a party?"

"I'm not sure he'd like that very much."

"It doesn't have to be at his house." Sakura said with a shrug.

Naruto looked up at her "If not at his house, then who's?.."

"Mm, I'll figure it out. But for now, you're Sasuke's assistant. Try to keep him in a good mood up until his birthday comes in a week."

Naruto blinked "You want me to what?"

"It's not complicated. Just do it." Sakura sighed

Naruto hesitated "fine.."

"You're the best." Sakura said with a wink as she walked away.

Naruto groaned "Keep Sasuke in a good mood all week?.. why did I agree."

It was three days after Sakura announced she was going to plan throwing Sasuke a birthday party.

Naruto was trying his best to keep Sasuke satisfied and in a 'good mood' which was honestly just Sasuke being Sasuke. His bad mood is when everyone annoys him and he shouts at everyone that speaks to him.

Naruto had quickly went to a nearby café to grab Sasuke a coffee for lunch.

The blonde had entered Sasuke's office "I decided to bring you a little something."

Sasuke looked up at the blonde "Which is?"

Naruto smiled at him as he placed a coffee and small bag down on Sasuke's desk.

The raven looked at Naruto suspiciously as he opened the bag and grabbed a plastic box with a tomato salad in it.

"I know how much you love tomatoes so I got you that.. oh, and there's some onigiri also in the bag."

"Why are you being more nice that usual?" Sasuke asked

"I mean, I don't see any reason why I shouldn't." Naruto shrugged.

Sasuke lowered his gaze "If you're planning something, Uzumaki.."

"I promise I'm not." The blonde quickly replied

"Alright.. I'll trust you. You can go and leave now."

Naruto nodded and turned before Sasuke hesitated "Wait. There's something I want you to do."

The blonde looked back at Sasuke confusingly

Sasuke had then handed Naruto some files "Can you look over these for me?"

Naruto just nodded "Of course. Have a good day, Mr. Uchiha." The blonde then headed out of Sasuke's office.

Sasuke watched Naruto leave and sighed as he began to eat his salad.

Naruto was moving back and forth since he was doing extra work for Sasuke so the raven wouldn't have to be so busy.

It was around midnight by now and Sakura, Kiba and Hinata had left an hour ago.

The only ones left in the building was Sasuke and Naruto.

Sasuke was packing everything in his office while Naruto was in his own office, working on the stacks of papers he had on his desk. He was tired, but forced himself awake to get everything done.

Naruto slouched in his seat with a groan as he looked at his computer screen, then the file in his hand.

Sasuke walked past the blondes office before stopping and looking at Naruto "You should go home now."

Naruto looked up at Sasuke "I'm fine here.."

"It's already pretty late. Just go. You can finish tomorrow." Sasuke said.

Naruto couldn't deny Sasuke, since he was his boss, after all. So the blonde sighed as he grabbed his bag and a few papers.

"Naruto.. leave them." The raven said

Naruto froze. Sasuke hasn't called him by his first name in awhile. But he did as he was told and walked up to Sasuke.

"I'll take you home."

Naruto's eyes widened "I-"

"It's not a offer." The raven said as he started walking.

Naruto shut his mouth and just followed Sasuke.

They reached Sasuke car, which was plain black. Sasuke opened the car door and glanced at Naruto. The blonde hesitated and went in. Sasuke following after.

Once the doors were shut, they were on their way.

It was completely silent as Naruto held his bag close to his chest. Sasuke's eyes were glued to the road as he drove.

"So.. how's itachi?.." Naruto asked

"He's fine." The raven hesitated "What about you? It has been years."

Naruto stared at him with wide eyes "I.. I've been fine."

"So do you still live alone?"

Naruto nodded "Yeah.."

It again became silent before they pulled up at Naruto's house.

The blonde had his hand on the door handle as he turned to Sasuke "Thank you." He then opened the door and closed it behind him as he headed towards his home.

Sasuke immediately drove off as the blonde unlocked his house and stepped inside with a sigh. "It's not only me being nice, I guess.."
