Naruto decided to keep quiet about Sasuke taking him home since his friends would start teasing him..

There was now only one day before Sasuke's birthday.

It was lunch and as always, Naruto was sitting at a table with his friends.

"Ok, so. I figure out who's house we're throwing the party at." Sakura said "Naruto's"

The blonde's eyes widened "Why mine?-"

"Well, it's basically empty and no one lives there besides you. So it'll be fine."

"But I never agreed for that-"

"Oh, come on, Naruto. Please?" Sakura said

Naruto grumbled "Ok, fine.."

"Great! After work, I'll take Naruto with me to get make the food. Kiba, Hinata. You two can get the supplies. We can meet at Naruto's house."

Everyone nodded in agreement. Besides Naruto who was munching on his food.

"We'll invite everyone. And Naruto. You'll have to tell Sasuke directly."

"Wha- But why?"

"You're the only one who has close contact with him." Sakura said with a shrug "You'll be fine."

"This is the last time I'm agreeing." Naruto said annoyingly

Sakura just patted Naruto's shoulder "Don't worry about anything. Everything will go smoothly."

Naruto had a feeling that wouldn't happen

Naruto was very hesitant to tell Sasuke. He was waiting in front of the raven's office.

He took a deep breath and knocked on the door. He was allowed entrance and walked inside nervously.

Naruto was a bit in relief to see Sasuke was in a good mood. The raven looked up at Naruto questioning

"I need to tell you something.. sort of."

"And that is?"

"Sakura is throwing you a birthday party. And you were invited since it is for you. But, it's at my house so you don't have to worry about anything."

Naruto was very nervous as he held his hands close together behind his back.

Sasuke was silent, having a thought "Alright.. I'll go. Just don't let there be major things happening."

Naruto nodded and walked out. He didn't realize he was holding his breath before finally exhaling.

He then went to immediately tell sakura.

"He said YES?! GREAT. You're amazing, Naruto." Sakura said as she hugged Naruto tightly, squeezing his lungs. "Sakura- can't breath-"

Sakura let go of the blonde "Sorry about that. I got overly excited."

Naruto just slowly nodded with a sigh "I'm just glad he didn't get mad or anything."

It was currently after work and Sakura was excited as she hurriedly went to Naruto's office and dragged the blonde who was stuffing a donut into his mouth "C'mon! We have to go now."

Naruto internally sighed as he was dragged by sakura.

They drove to Naruto's house and once they entered, Sakura immediately began pulling ingredients out from Naruto's kitchen.

"..welcome to my house." Naruto muttered as he followed Sakura

"I want you to help me make everything. We gotta get everything done before morning."

Naruto just nodded "alright.."

The two then began to make the food.

While Kiba and Hinata were walking around shops, looking for decorations

"Naruto-kun said Sasuke likes tomatoes.. so red theme?.."

"Or we can go with rainbow." Kiba suggested

"Rainbow? Why rainbow?" Hinata asked

"I dunno if it's just me, but I think Sasuke is gay. I mean, he never showed interest in females the whole time I've known the guy."

Hinata blinked "uh.. but do you think he's like having a rainbow party?"

"We'll go with red and rainbow then, I guess."

"Oh, ok." Hinata nodded as she looked for decorations.

Sasuke had walked into his home, being greeted by his brother by suprise. "Hello, little brother. How have you been?" Itachi said with a small smile

Sasuke just sneered "What are you doing here?"

"I'm just here to see my dear little brother, of course. Oh, and I heard Naruto-chan works for you know." He chuckled "After all these years too.. who would've guessed."

Sasuke rolled his eyes as he went to the kitchen to grab a snack.

"Has Naruto-chan changed at all? He's a young man now, isn't he?"

"Yeah, Naruto's changed. He isn't his sixteen year old self anymore."

"Yes, you do have a point. Now.. say, Sasuke. Do you like Naruto? And I mean in a romantic way."

Sasuke froze and growled "No, I don't. And I never will. Especially not that dumbass."

"Ah, well. Ever since you came out to me as gay, I thought you'd have a thing for Naruto-Chan." Itachi said

"Absolutely not. He's just an old friend. I don't care all that much about him."

"Hm, are you sure? So you wouldn't care if I took Naruto instead? He's adorable, that's for sure. He's around 22 now, isn't he? I don't see a problem."

Sasuke angrily walked up to Itachi "Don't you dare, Itachi."

Itachi chuckled "See? You do care. Now. Your 23rd birthday is tomorrow. Are you planning on anything? I hope things aren't the same."

"There's going to be a party planned for me tomorrow.." Sasuke muttered

"Ah, I see. Is Naruto-chan going to be there?"

"It's going to be at his house, so obviously."

"How exciting. Maybe you two can communicate more out of work."

Sasuke ignored Itachi as he went to his room and slammed the door shut.

Itachi shook his head "You never changed, Sasuke"
